    I've made my mind up. He's better than Boruc. Much more consistent which is the biggest thing for a keeper.

    There's one thing I've always said about Forster. He isn't a spectacular keeper but he is a very steady, very safe keeper. There's one advantage to this...

    The comparisons with Joe Hart are apt; look at what happened in the Bernabeau to them; which is the only comparison to the Nou Camp for me.... 85 minutes of spectacular saves; his * dropped in the end and he missed two he really should have not ballsed up. Forster would have saved them; would he have pulled off some of the saves Hart did though is arguable because Hart is a spectacular keeper; he's just not a safe one.

    At current rate of development, he will (if we have him on a long enough contract,) go on to surpass Gordon in terms of price I reckon. He is frighteningly young for a keeper to have done so much in his career already.

    Ive said it for years but i would always have him in my team over Boruc. Boruc was a class keeper but he was an eccentric bell end at times and it cost us. Forster just does his job and goes about it quietly. His cleansheet record is unbelievable and I think he will break his own record this year because of how good Wilson and Efe will be.

    bet joe hart is * himself, its a joke that hodgeson didnt pick him sooner.
    imagine having Ruddy > Forster for most of this time.
    definately think hes on his way to battling for number 1 spot. still think joe harts the better keeper, because hes tested at the best level day in day out, but weve got some keeper!

    Newcastle must be sick to there stomach
