We get big Forster signed asap, then we go right down the spine of the team, and sign a big bully of a centre-half, and then another big bully who will be a big battering ram up front. Give me them 3 and I will be happy as *. We dont need a left winger at this stage, because that's the position which has transformed big Sammi into the player we have all admired. Keep wee Stokesy as back up, but the question is ? Will he settle for this ?

CELTIC have failed to persuade Fraser Forster to stay.

The Scottish champions agreed a £2m fee for the Newcastle keeper, who has been on loan at Parkhead for two seasons.


But Forster, 24, has decided to report back for training with Newcastle next week while he waits to see if an English club moves in for him.


Forster wants to play in the Premier League, but it looks unlikely to happen at the Toon because of the form of Tim Krul.


Newcastle boss Alan Pardew said yesterday: “He is coming back to us.


“He will be with us until he finds a club and we find a fee that works for us.”


Pardew already has three keepers in his squad, with Steve Harper and Rob Elliot as back-up for Krul.



“It’s one area we are well stocked in,” added Pardew.


Southampton have been linked with Forster, while Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert is an admirer of a player he borrowed while in charge at Norwich.


Meanwhile, Pardew’s bid to land Ajax defender Toby Alderweireld appears to be doomed.

If he doesn't want to be here, I'm a bit annoyed that he's been wasting our time.

And if he does go back to Newcastle, I hope we are on £100K for every skelf he get in his * next season.

I'll put money on it being this that is the reason why the deal is taking so long. Look at how long it took for Broony to sign and that's cos it was his agent * around.

Hopefully the deal will be done soon. Starting to drag on a bit.

 

Broony's a bit different though mate, he wasn't on loan for 2 seasons with us, and didn't say he would love to be here permanent etc. but I see your similarities regarding the agents taking the *, Hopefully FF still signs, cracking keeper at 23/24, can only get better. He needs to sort his agent out if it is his agent dragging this on,
