Should be fully up to the player not the agent.

You would think. But players won't talk unless it's through their agent. Forster has stated that he would like to play here. He feels at home.
Lennon was trying to get in touch with Forsters agent for weeks and he didn't answer or return his calls.

Every player has an agent. Its the agents role to get as much money for the player as possible. Thats why they are hired.

Forster will feel he deserves to be a top earner at the club and after two seasons where he kept record amounts of clean sheets behind, lets face it, not the most inspiring defence at times, he is right.

Yep I can't blame Fraser for anything, as long as he stays it's all good.

Put him and Hooper on 80k a week tbh * the wage structure let's just go crazy!

I really want us to close the deal with this soon, man has been outstanding for us since his first visit, one of the few keepers iv ever been confident with playing for us.

We had him on loan (Norwich) and he was top class for us. At Norwich we were in the same situation where we wanted to sign him on a perm.
We didn't in the end but I am sure that's because Newcastle rate him highly and expect him to take over from Krul at some point similar to how Joe Hart took over from Shay Given at Man City.
I expect that means his price is going to be pretty high. It's why we ended up with John Ruddy who has been class for us.

How's his kicking been? That was the only thing that let him down for us.

that seems to be his flaw with us aswell, sometimes his distribution is absolutely terrible, e.g the second goal last night, and sometimes he doesn't command his box like he should for being such a big guy. great shot stopper though and he's improving everyday

Agreed. He's still massively young in keeper terms so I'm sure he has a real bright future. If you could bring him in he has potential to be your keeper for the next 10+ years. Failing that I am sure he's only going to get better so he'd get bought from you for a big profit. Win Win!

Remember watching him in the game Norwich got promoted from League one (?) and he was outstanding! That was the first time I had ever heard of him, it was some performance.

    Was it away to Charlton?

Yeah, he kept us in that game for sure! We won 1-0 thanks to a Gary Doherty header if I remember correctly!
I remember chuckling as I went in at the guy selling 2010 League 1 Champions scarves outside the ground. On the way out he was flocked! :icon_mrgreen:

To be fair his distribution and kicking have improved massively since he joined us and I don't really remember him making any mistakes this season in that department, not counting yesterday.

And the defenders he has around him aren't the best, most of the time. The likes of Maj, Loovens, Cha, and Kelvin Wilson come instantly to mind.
