I hope people are still not trying to blame him on the goal on sat , if you watch the replay the ball takes some amount of Bend was hit like a rocket and is some strike really .

Only point i would make is Brown or Vic could maybe have got out faster to Rankin .

Agree with this, watched the highlights to see it again and it does have some bend on it.

    Sign Forster up Lenny!

I initially thought Forster was at fault when I seen it but once ye see the replay especialy the one from behind the ball ye can see he had no chance of getting it, it's just a great hit with some amount of bend on it taking it into the net off the post.

Exactly. I said as soon as I seen it again that it was just a great strike and Forster had no chance in saving it. Curling away from him the whole time.
Had a great game on Sat, saving from Kenneth in the first few minutes, then again with Daly header.
His improvement in the last 2 months has been outstanding.

he has had more clean sheets since he has joined celtic than any other keeper in the spl during the same time period. still young, especially for a keeper. the improvement he has made from last season is amazing and he is only going to get better as he picks up more experience. we arent going to find a better replacement for £2m,

Stupid BBC won't allow those clips to be accessed in Ireland but found this link:

Quality's not the best. I'd say Forster was possibly unsighted for the shot as it did seem to be quite close to him. Nice goals by Hooper and Wanyama and another valuable 3 points.:50:

Not up to the mark we are looking but heading in the right direction Imo.

The lad is improving all the time, I remember at the begining of last season saying similar things as you about a certain Mr Mulgrew and how much has he put me and the rest like me to shame.

I think it is wrong and demoralising to write off a player who is consistently showing signs of improvement as the season progresses and should only be judged when his ability has peaked. I wasn't dying about the big lad last season but the signs say he is worth a chance and 93% of this poll agree with me :50:

Yeah, this is fair. He'll probably never be a world beater but he does seem to be improving, hope he keeps it up. He has done well recently after a shaky start to the season ( along with the rest of the team).

How did Keiren Westwood slip through the Board's (cheap) fingers?

We could have locked him up last year, and we wouldn't have to be worrying about another round of GK rumours/talks this Summer ...

Fraser Forster's been great, but I still think Westwood would've been the better bet.

Looks like the big man wants to stay. I'd be happy with that. Get it done now, let him settle in properly without having to worry about doing the whole saga somewhere else.
