The mistakes thing is a bit of a myth for me. Other than the own goal in Europe where he was culpable along with Cha and the hun game last season, I dont recall him making any mistakes that led to goals for the opposition. I dont think he has cost us any games either.

His improvement this season has been exceptional. Last season he could barely clear the box with his kicking. This season it is excellent. Throw outs are superb and even his catching has improved.

Ive said before that he is still a kid in terms of goalies and is gonna be a top player.

If you asked me this a few months ago I would have said no. But he has really won me over and improved massively lately. Hope he keeps up the good form.

Like the rest of the team he is young and still improving. This season will go along way to making him the top keeper he can be. :50:

Yes. Always liked the big man. He has had shaky moments of course, but he has been class for us recently and last season he was excellent. Must buy at £2 million.

This. Votes are an overwhelming yes, so it seems most would like the big man to stay.

Would have liked a permanent deal at the end of last season. I hear he is regarded as a great potential talent from what coaches have said. With experience, stability and confidence he could go on to be a great. He's only a boy still in terms of goalkeepers late 'peak' age.

Always liked him, too many doubters early on for no reason. The only mistake i can remember him making was the first old firm last season where he kicked the ball to Naismith or someone and Miller scored. Top keeper, his preformance away in Udinese is one of the best performances i've ever seen from a Celtic goalkeeper. I hope the big guy is at the club for a long time to come! In Fraser we trust :shamrock:

Absolute 100% surefire signing, will be difficult to get as we all know the board don't like forking out too much, and Newcastle will surely want him back, but I hope Lenny/the board try as hard as they can to keep him here.

If he just keeps working on his confidence and collecting, being more authoritative in the air, then I don't know who we could get that's better, I honestly dont.

Now i'm not saying he's better than Neuer, Casillas, Hart etc but we're not getting them for less than 30 mill, so Fraser should be considered a certain purchase.

He hardly puts a foot wrong, i've never seen him make a mistake like dropping a ball or scoring an OG, his one-on-one record is brilliant, far better than 50/50, he wins easily 80% of the times a striker is bearing down on him, and is a fantastic shot stopper as well.

I never thought he was bad or that good really, just quite boring and reliable with a few flaws, but since his peno save vs hearts he's just grown and grown. Great to see how he celebrated that as well, he finally showed the passion I think we had all wanted to see in him.

Fraser Forster stay at Hoops! :celt_2:

Definitely, earlier in the season I wasn't sure but did say 'yes' as long as continued to improve...

No doubt he has continually improved and I hope he will continue to do so - I also hope newcastle sanction the move!

As for the fee - is it definitely set at £2m?

    If so, no brainer!

Well worth £2m and if he continues to improve he'll be worth a helluva lot more!

    Hail Hail

Always been a critic, perhaps unfairly at times.

In recent weeks my confidence has risen in him tenfold. Don't worry anywhere near as much about his kicking anymore, and he's starting to really command the box of his especially from set pieces which was always my main concern with him.

He was a hero in the Hearts game, and many will point to that as being the turning point for them in their opinion of him, but it was his performance in Italy that really started to win me over big time. There's no higher complement than saying it was an Artur Boruc esque performance from him.

Personally don't think he'll ever be as good a Celtic 'keeper as the Holy Goalie but if he goes on to become even half the goalie he was then I'll be a happy man.

Swaying rapidly towards the "sign him up" camp :celt_2:

Why would you prefer an injury prone keeper who hasn't really shown any form in 3 years to big Fraser?
