I found the same. I have flat feet so pounding the pavement for miles ended up giving me really bad knee problems.

I'm not into cycling but I use the treadmill and it's a lot kinder on the ol' knees!

Yeah I find myself kinda flopping through the last part of the work outs even now. Might do as you say and just do half the work outs for a month or so until I'm a lot fitter then start from the beginning again and go at it full intensity.

    Cheers :50:

The can't be arsed attitude and no motivation is just a bad diet, eat properly and drink a litre+ of filtered water per day and motivation to do anything you want just appears like magic. :50:

That's true. Just throw yourself into it and after a week, it's plain sailing. You soon get to the point where you'd rather be eating properly and working out than not. You don't have to go overboard, just think about how you'll feel after you've done something and it should give you the motivation to do it or avoid it. Once you get the mental barrier out the way, it's not that hard to stick to something.

It went really well actually, the first day is just a "fit test" which sounds easy (and it is compared to the rest of it) but last 3 times I tried to do it I couldn't even finish it. On the floor barely able to move, thinking I'm going to be sick, was pathetic!

But this time I finished the whole thing, feeling really light headed, but other than that I feel fantastic having done it!

    well done mate:50:

so what happens if you fail the fit test si it advised you just don't do it?

i think once you get the buzz for doing something like it you will find it hard to stop....thats what im hoping anyway.
