He is similar to Griffiths, he has like the same skills as Griffiths(good left foot, ok on the ball, can shoot and cross well but not the best link-up play) only in the body of a Scepovic(tall and ok mobility but not strong or fast or a target man) I would say.

Theres little between Milik and players like Van Wolfswinkel and Luuk de Jong, all kind of too average for the likes of the EPL or Germany.

I will be massively suprised if he does well there, they have honestly been stung big style I think. He's just so average than I can't possibly see him doing well, especially to play up front for a club who have had Higuain and Cavani as their past two strikers.

It's like going from Larsson to Viduka to Stokes but paying more for Stokes than you did for Larsson and Viduka.

I like Griffiths, but there's no chance he's better than Milik.

    Fairly similar styles, though.

Aye, I think Ajax fans always considered him too limited on the ball to play up front for them, not as limited as Sighthorsson but not technical enough at linking play and bringing others into play. They dropped him for a lot of games too now he's been sold like he was the best player in the country and a great talent.

I watched Ajax last week and Dobson or something cant mind his name but the Danish boy they signed who played up front looked decent enough, think hes only 18 too, he scored was getting stuck in and had another couple of decent shots. Think their other forward was a young Colombian, didnt even know they had signed them.

Sad thing is McCormack is probably really worth that in the Championship. He's proven in that league and is one of the better players, if £14m gets you promoted it's * all.

Gabriel Jesus, the best young Brazilian player by some way right now bought by Man City for 32 million€, and loan him right back to Palmeiras until the end of the Brazilian season. Will play in the Olympics.

Cristian Espinoza, Huracán to Villarreal for 7.2 million€. A young attacker, one of the best young Argentine players. Also at the Olympics.

Antonio Candreva, Lazio to Inter for 22 million€.

Is Gabriel Jesus the "real deal" or another Lucas, Oscar or Bernard?

Bernard has flopped but Lucas and Oscar have had good careers so far.

Probably not, but that isn't a dig at Gabriel Jesus. Neymar was a once in a generation freak of nature who could do it all the pitch. Gabriel Jesus has scored a load of goals this season for Palmeiras, top scorer in the league right now and finished Palmeiras' top scorer in Libertadores (but they went out in the groups).

Compare that to Neymar, who's ability and confidence won Santos the Libertadores at the same age.

It wouldn't be fair to compare any players coming through to Neymar really.

Well all three of those players are great but Gabriel Jesus is better than all of them I'd say, even if he hasn't created the buzz that Lucas created when São Paulo won the Sudamericana or Bernard kind of created when Atlético Mineiro won the Libertadores.

At the start of his career he was put out wide and they tried to use his pace to run at defenders. But they moved him into a central position and closer to goal. From there he has just be terrorising defenders, with goal after goal. So quick, great eye for goal and has all the tricks and flicks any Brazilian 'wonder kid' should have.

The Santos kid, still a great young player. Not as attacking as Gabriel Jesus, with Santos using Ricardo Oliveira as their target man and Gabigol behind him as a second striker/supply line. He has a more free role for Santos than Gabriel Jesus has at Palmeiras, and is maybe a bit more creative on the ball.
