No is the answer to that question yes he scored 28 goals last season but Leeds have done a * fine job to get 11 million for him

 

How much debt are Leeds in? Surely 11 million is enough to see them replace him easily and have money in the coffers, paying off a good chunk of the debt.

He was top scorer so he is 'proven' in that league. But I would baulk at 5 million, never mind 11 million.

 

Who is wanting Verratti?

 

Juve should sell Pogba to PSG for £35million plus Verratti. Would be a great deal for all involved. Pogba going to France, Verratti going back to Italy. Don't think Pogba is much better than Verratti but if PSG are willing to pay that much Juve should take it because Pogba will leave at some point.

Verratti is a decent player but I dont think anything special. He is basically what the English make out Wilshere is, a clever player in possession with a decent range of passing but I wouldnt say anything special, he's not creative, doesn't score goals and does little defensively. Pirlo is 35 and still well better than him.

€40million as well. Bayern would probably sell Thiago for that who again is miles better.

 

What's that about? He's too rash for me, always diving in when he shouldn't, and he always plays people onside. Not convinced on him. He's still quite young though I guess.

The thing is, so are strikers like David Nugent and Sylvain Ebanks-Blake. The standard is fairly poor in the Championship. 11 million is utterly ridiculous, he's almost 28 as well ffs.
