    It's Liverpool in that its odd. Liverpool always seem to make mental signings that are of no need, especially when they can do better.

    There's no need to sign a 30 million striker when we have borini, suarez and Sturridge.

    We have money, but when 16-18 mil's going on Moreno, 12 million on Can, and trying to sign Lovren, as well as Lallana and Shaqiri, no need to sign a world beater striker.

    For 4,5 million pound, for an England striker, who had loads of assists and goals, and is a red himself, isn't bad.

    Lambert and Moreno are brilliant signings for Liverpool. If i had the choice of my back up strikers being Torres, Lambert, Welbeck, Bentner, Chicarito, Sanogo, Eto'o id have Rickie Lambert. Liverpools dodgy run came when Sturridge got injured so they onviously need a back up striker and for that price thats a cracking deal.

    I think Lambert is a really good buy tbf. Much smarter than spunking 30m on an import who might not settle. They will need a bigger squad with the extra games this season and it gives them some more quality.

    Disappointed in that it looks like Southampton are going to lose so much this summer though. It's like every time anyone threatens to make progress to the top they basically get bought out by all the competitors. Unless there is a miracle it looks like for the next 50 years the EPL champion is gonna be one of about 6 or 7 teams. Football sucks.

    Seems to have gone a bit cold this. Normally it would be all over the press by now but not so this time. Maybe the company that owns Ganso are trying to create some business?

    Another rumour is Flamengo getting Walter Montillo on loan.

    Southampton fans must be feeling terrible. Just lost Pochettino to Spurs, Lambert to Liverpool, Lallana also looks headed for Liverpool and Wanyama's being heavily linked with a move as well.
