£4M much better hardly a risk at that fee.

 

That's what I was trying to work out. According to transfermarket, Coentrao is worth 13mill and Morata is 11mill approx. So going by their valuations, Real value Pogba in the region of 90 million euros. I reckon you are probably closer with the 100 million.

 

When does Lambert's contract expire? I don't think he's worth it, but you'd expect Southampton to be looking for nearer to £10m - England WC striker after all.

 

It might be £8m with add ons ,Was under contract until 2016 .

 

I was just guestimating, I thought Madrid would want something like £20m-£25m for Coentrao and Morata is a good young, up and coming player, so maybe the same.

Either way, anything over £40m is over-priced but football is mental nowadays so you never know. :smiley-laughing002:

 

Not that far fetched after the David Luiz fee . Only a rumour i do not think Juve would knock back anything around £50/60 m for him.

 

I thought Coentrao would be worth £20m at least. I know Madrid need to sign a 'galatico' every season to make a statement, but sometimes it just looks like they identify a player and think '* it, throw money at them and make it look like he's the greatest thing aroung.'

He would be. He's one of the most promising players in Europe at the moment, massive potential. I'm not doubting that, I'm more critical of the way Real value players. Ronaldo maybe needed to be a massive bid, but Bale and Pogba, both over £80million? It as though they want to make a signing but do it in the most dramatic way possible. Their accountant must work on a commission basis.

 

Southampton have not accepted Liverpool offer for Lambert but talks continue & SaintsFC won't stand in his way if they get right deal .

 

Aye they do spend a bit over the top but probably are just desperate to get the players they want.

Even Illarramendi I think they paid something like £35million or something. Would be like someone paying that for Barkley from Everton.
