The request for Nani, who's currently on a deal with Premier League reigning champions until June 2018, is set at 20 million euros, while none of the suitors have at the time offered more than 12.

 

Mata would be a terrific signing for United. The thought of Mata in behind Rooney and Van Persie is enough to strike fear into any team.

West Ham United are in negotiations to sign AC Milan's Antonio Nocerino according to TMW in Italy on Wednesday. Former Italian international Nocerino has made 7 Serie A starts for AC Milan so far this season and a further 4 substitute appearances, but he's not thought to be wanted under the new management of Clarence Seedorf.

West Ham United are stated as the favourites for Nocerino's signature but TMW claim that West Brom are also interested in the player, both moves concentrate on this transfer window. There's the possibility of a loan move leading to a permanent deal, but it's likely AC Milan would prepare the permanent option so they can get cash in ahead of their rebuilding.


Swansea City were trying to sign José Manuel Jurado who is currently playing for Spartak Moscow. Izvestia, one of the major sport sources in Russia, claimed he's on Michael Laudrup's wanted list and that the Welsh club are trying to sign him.

Izvestia didn't think it would be easy because Spartak value the midfielder highly and wouldn't want to let him leave this winter. Sparktak aren't under contract pressure either, Jurado has a contract until June 2017. The Russian club has a good chance of winning the title this season and will want to keep their key squad players, a lot is likely to depend on what Jurado wants and how hard he'd be prepared to push for a transfer to the Premier League.

At the same time Swansea are trying to sign a La Liga midfielder, but that sounds just as difficult. Mundo Deportivo report on Wednesday that Swansea have made moves to recruit Raoul Loe from Osasuna. He's a 24 year old defensive midfielder who the Spanish club want to hang on to.

There could be some hope for Swansea and Laudrup, Loe's contract runs out in June 2015 and if he pushes for the Swansea move then the chance to cash in will be tempting. Osasuna are also looking to make some signings of their own and the proceeds from a sale would certainly help.
