I can't think of anyone at them that scores on a regular basis. They are doing pretty well at the moment so if they pulled of the Long signing and Jelavic gets his touch back it could set them up pretty nicely for the 2nd half of the season.

I dont think Guidetti is that good a player, he is always mentioned by our fans in that player suggestion thing.

I mind seeing him a few times when he played for Feyenoord even one game I think he scored a hat-trick against Ajax but he never actually looked that good a player like his movement or ability on the ball or linking up or holding the ball or anything was a good goalscorer though. Two good signings for Stoke there, Guidetti will definitely get a few goals now that he's finally been given a chance in the premier league, hopefully anyways.

 

Be interesting to see how he does, I dont think he will score goals at Premier League level but you never know as Darren Bent managed it quite easily and isnt a particularly skilled or intelligent player.

 

Aston Villa have signed Grant Holt on loan from Wigan until the end of the season.

 

Maybe, I always thought it was a bit strange how he was so hyped up and still hasn't got a chance at City yet. He does seem a tad limited, and in the modern game you have to have the complete package, in fact with some strikers their all round play is as important/if not more important in some cases, than their actual goal scoring ability.

And for a team like Stoke he definitely does not seem the type you'd have spear heading a 4-2-3-1 formation which they've played all season.

 

Stoke just need a finisher though. They're general play hasn't been bad this season. I think that kind of player will do well there.
