Good list of what transfers are going on in Brazil. The big news would be that Adriano is training with Atlético Paranaense and may play for them next year and Zé Roberto returning to Portuguesa to end his career where it all began for him, at Lusa.

 

Internacional have stolen away their biggest rivals goalkeeper, as Dida moves across the divide from Grêmio. He has signed a two year contract and will probably be a back up for Muriel, who had a troublesome season.

He is 40 years old now.



In other news newly promoted giants Palmeiras are keen to give their fans a high profile signing to celebrate their centenary year. They are looking at Ronaldinho who's contract at Atlético Mineiro ends this January (apparently he "dreams" of such a move but seems like media headline writing to me). But they say that they will need a partner to help pay his wages. They have also been looking at Elano (formally of Man City), Lúcio (formally of Bayern and Inter, was kicked out of São Paulo) and Bruno César (formally on Benfica, now in Middle East) as well as working to keep on-loan striker Leandro.

Speaking of golden oldies Rivaldo, who at 41 has just got another new club, this time he has gone back to his second ever club, Mogi Mirim. He is the president of the club and his son (handly named Rivaldinho, "Little Rivaldo) plays for the club. They play in the Third Division and the A1 Paulista.

He has a one year contract with them.

Cagliari are reported to be close to signing the young Adryan of Flamengo. Some of you might remember him from FIFA 13 where he was a bit of star.

Would be terrible to see him go. A great prospect who is only 19. He should stay in Brazil and improve instead of rushing off to Europe at the first chance. He should see the giant list of those that have done that and gone backward. Would be better for everyone if he stayed, like Neymar.

Don't know. Can't have been very serious if we were.

With the news of Adyran, Luiz Antônio has kind of been forgotten about. For Flamengo losing him would be worse than losing Adyran. Was one of the stand out players for Mengão this season. So hope he and Elias both stay.
