Bild has been known to make things up in the past. They're basically a German tabloid.

I wouldn't take it for granted but it wouldn't surprise me if he did end up at Barca.

They'd be stupid to let him go considering they basically have unlimited money. After all, he's easily in the top 10 keepers in the world and is only 21. He has the potential to go on and actually be the best in the world in a few years, I think.

The list of buyers for Lewandowski seems to be increasing. Especially after a transfer to Bayern Munich became more unlikely. Now Real Madrid, Manchester City and Arsenal have emerged as new potential buyers, and should make tempting offers for Borussia Dortmund's Pole in the coming weeks, according to the British newspaper the Daily Mirror.

The two clubs have different plans to ensure the arrival of the striker, who will not be playing in the World Cup, since Poland did not qualify, and have ended their engagements until the end of this season. He could even sign a pre-contract in January with Manchester City should their proposal for a trade involving the Bosnian Džeko work.

But Arsenal, are investing more money as demonstrated by the hiring of
Özil from Real Madrid. They can pay up to £25 million (R$ 88 million) for Lewandowski. Manager Arsène Wenger dreams of a strong centre forward and now that he has failed to get Rooney or Suarez, the Polish striker would be another big name.

Real Madrid have also shown interest. With the poor form of Benzema, the Merengues can offer up to 20 million euros (R$ 59 million).

I think this is unlikely, but with Lewandowski I think Arsenal would be real title challengers.

Lewandowski would be a phenomenal signing for Arsenal. I hope he stays with Dortmund but it's pretty much clear he's leaving.

What happened with the Bayern move? Thought that was basically guarenteed to happen.

Didn't Hans-Joachim Watzke say he was blocking the sale?

I'm not sure how much truth there is in it, but it would be an interesting move to say the least.

So sad - he was once considered the better half of a pairing with Dante at a very good Standard Liege side...

If a mid-table side was after him you wouldn't see 'compared to Lionel Messi' being bandied about. :smiley-laughing002:
