Everton continue fight on two fronts

Sportsmail's Adam Crafton reports: 'Everton now must come to an agreement with Wigan for James McCarthy. Talks reached an impasse earlier this afternoon but Wigan still expect a £14million to go ahead.
Everton will also step up their chase - either on loan or in a permanent move - for Gareth Barry.
If Everton fail to secure a replacement, Manchester United's move for Marouane Fellaini could be in major jeopardy. A deal is believed to be close between the two sides - but it is on the condition that Everton can recruit a new midfield player. It may now be time for the Belgian to hand in a transfer request.
United may also return with a FIFTH bid for Leighton Baines this evening. It will need to approach £20million. Tense times at Old Trafford.

David Moyes, though not seeming to consider him a regular, is however unlikely to let leave former Borussia Dortmund star, who joined Red Devils just last summer.

Norwich unlikely to push for permanent Vaz Te move
