Forest are keen on Wolves’ £3million-rated winger Bakary Sakho but are also considering Vaz Te, in their search for more width.

West Brom seek reinforcements up front
Neil Moxley updates us on a busy morning at West Brom:
West Brom have been firing off bids in all directions this morning. Their chase for Sunderland's Stephane Sessegnon seems to rest on whether they can afford his wages - he was awarded a whopping new contract by Martin O'Neill last season.

And there appears to be a situation with respect to offers for Everton's Victor Anichebe and Juventus forward Fabio Quagiarella. They are interested in both but are unlikely to do deals for the two strikers. It's likely to be one or the other.

    Kamara has medical at Middlesbrough
As we reported earlier, Kei Kamara is undergoing a medical at Middlesbrough.
The 29-year-old Sierra Leone striker, who was on loan at Norwich last season, is set to complete his move from Kansas City.
Boro switched their sights to Kamara after missing out on Leeds United’s Ross McCormack and Norwich striker Luciano Becchio.

West Brom's competition for Everton forward Victor Anichebe's signature appears to be from Stoke City who are also interested in beefing up their attacking options ahead of the window closing.
If they succeed in landing the striker, it is likely to allow Wigan Athletic to pursue Cameron Jerome who also interests Reading.

Mackay allows Brayford to return to Derby
    Joe Bernstein reports:
Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay will allow £1.5million summer signing John Brayford to return to Derby County after failing to use him so far this season.

    West Brom enquire about Rondon
More potential business at the Hawthorns. Neil Moxley reports:

    Ince training with Blackpool
The latest on Tom Ince from Sportsmail's Jack Gaughan:
Tom Ince is training with Blackpool today. There's been plenty of talk about the young winger moving, with Newcastle making an enquiry yesterday. The Magpies, however, aren't expected to go back in for the England Under 21 international.

The Seasiders are pressing ahead in getting a number of incoming deals done. They have been heavily linked with ex-Wolves midfielder Stephen Hunt.

Cesar not keen on move away

FA may persuade Ilori to play for England
Neil Ashton has been looking into one of Liverpool's new signings:
The FA are to ask for talks with Liverpool's new defender Tiago Ilori after it emerged he is eligible for the England national team.
Ilori was born in England but has represented the Portuguese national team at junior level throughout his career in the country with Sporting.
England chief Roy Hodgson and Under-21 coach Gareth Southgate fear there is a lack of talent making the breakthrough in the Barclays Premier League.
It is a subject that will be addressed when new FA chairman Greg * makes a strong speech on the issue on Wednesday.
England were alerted to the possibility that Ilori could be persuaded to switch nationality after his move to Anfield.
Ilori, 20, was also wanted by Tottenham, but the move was blocked and he decided to move to Liverpool instead.

Boro chase Fryatt to boost attacking options
Colin Young reports as Middlesbrough chase more firepower:
After missing out on Ross McCormack and Luciano Becchio, Middlesbrough are turning late attention to Hull City striker Matty Fryatt.
Tony Mowbray faces competition from Championship rivals Leicester City and Nottingham Forest for Fryatt who has been told he can leave the KC Stadium.
Boro went to £2million for Leeds striker McCormack but he has now signed an improved deal at Elland Road.
Becchio meanwhile, joined Norwich from Leeds last season, and he wants to fight for his place at Carrow Road after Gary Hooper and Ricky van Wolfswinkel joined this summer.

Hull may join race for Bendtner
Neil Ashton on a possible late bidder for Bendtner:
It's a long shot, but Hull are still interested in signing Nicklas Bendtner - they are competition for Crystal Palace.
Bendtner played for Hull chief Steve Bruce when he was manager of Birmingham City when they won promotion from the Championship in 2007.

Fulham still in the market for a right-back
The transfer window business might not be quite over at Fulham, reports Colin Young:
Martin Jol wants to sign a right-back today.
The Fulham boss said: 'We have a problem with Riether and Briggs. I think it is pretty obvious where we are looking to do business.'
Jol has been linked with Parma defender Yohan Benalouane and former Chelsea and Wolves centre-half Michael Mancienne.

Italian press: Palermo's Abel Hernandez to join Genoa. Player was never close to joining Arsenal.

Saints have transfer business done and dusted
Sportsmail's Sam Cunningham checks in with Southampton:
I've been told that Southampton are expecting a quiet deadline day by sources at the club. The club did their spending early, splashing £36million on Dejan Lovren (£8.5m), Victor Wanyama (£12.5m) and Dani Osvaldo (£15m).

The latter was Mauricio Pochettino's final key transfer target as the club look to improve on last season's 14th-place finish.

There could be a few players not involved with the first team squad going out the door. It is likely Billy Sharp and Jonathan Forte will go.

Jack Cork, a regular last season but struggling to get in the first team following the arrival of Wanyama, has been linked with Fulham, but Pochettino has said he is not for sale.

Real will announce after Bale press conference they have accepted bids from Arsenal and PSG for Ozil and it is up to the player to decide.

Amazing that the manager has no role to play in Bale's unveiling. All about ego of the president.

Compared to £85 million for Bale, getting one of the best play-makers in world football for that price is an absolute bargain. :smiley-laughing002:

Kaka has this morning signed a two year contract to re-join AC Milan from Real Madrid. The Brazilian star got reacquainted with the Italian club's famous red and black colours. He moved to Madrid for around £56million back in 2009.

    Arsenal ask Chelsea about Ba
Sami Mokbel on Arsenal's next target on Deadline Day:
As Sportsmail revealed this morning, Demba Ba is a deadline day target for Arsenal. The North London club have made an enquiry to Chelsea.
But it is understood Jose Mourinho is reluctant to let the striker leave for one of their top-four rivals.

    rce ‏@Pearcesport 29m
I'm told Mike Ashley let Cabaye listen to phone negotiations last week + he heard Arsenal say: "25 million a lot for a reserve ,moodchanger.

West Ham set to sign Barcelona Juvenil A striker Cristian Herrera.

    Confusion over Given move
Neil Moxley with an update on the situation at Villa Park:
Puzzled faces at Villa Park at the speculation surrounding Shay Given. As of this morning, no communication received from Liverpool. Seems a bit pointless, Given going to be No. 2 to Simon Mignolet.
Sixty grand a week to warm the bench is the same at Villa Park as it is at Anfield. Surely Brendan Rodgers can find cheaper cover than that?

    Bruce considers move for Doyle
And here's more activity from Humberside from Colin Young:

As he looks far and wide to strengthen his strikeforce, Hull boss Steve Bruce is pondering a move for Wolves’ Kevin Doyle.

Kenny Jacket, the Wolves boss, is reluctant to sell the Republic of Ireland striker, who has been left out of Giovanni Trapattoni’s squad for the last six months as he struggles for form.

Doyle, 30, is on £40,000-a-week and has made a positive start to the new campaign for Wolves.

If he misses out on Hugo Rodallega and Niclas Bendtner, Bruce is ready to turn to Doyle as his next alternative.

    Hunt in discussions with Blackpool
Another line here from Colin Young:

Former Wolves winger Stephen Hunt is in talks with Blackpool.

But a deal for the Ireland international may not go through today as the 32-year-old is a free transfer and can be signed after the window closes.

Reading could also make a late move for their former player who has been out of contract since Wolves were relegated last season.

    Odemwingie has medical at Cardiff
Charles Sale with another update on the Odemwingie situation:
Sadly no more unofficial deadline day car journeys for Peter Odemwingie. All terms agreed with Cardiff subject to medical taking place now.

Blades have completed signing of Belgian Florent Cuvelier on a three-year deal after an undisclosed fee was agreed with Stoke City. #sufc

    Sheffield clubs compete for Lita
Riath Al-Samarrai reports on two local rivals going head-to-head:
Decent Yorkshire tussle developing for Swansea's Leroy Lita.
I'm told by sources at Swansea that Sheffield United have joined Sheffield Wednesday in the race for the striker, though the player is apparently reluctant to leave unless it is a loan deal.
Lita is one of only two players who Swansea are actively trying to offload. The other, Curtis Obeng, is not thought to have attracted any interest.

Paolo Di Canio will bring in his 14th player of the transfer window with former Liverpool left back Andrea Dossena signing for Sunderland on loan.
Having already brought in Fabio Borini from Liverpool on a season long loan, the Italian manager will capture his second player on deadline day after a medical.
Dossena failed to secure a move to Torino last week, but is ready to leave Napoli for another stint in the Premier League.

Blackburn have rejected a club record bid from Wigan for hotshot striker Jordan Rhodes.

SSN: Zenit have offered Hulk to Spurs on season-long loan, but for a fee of £10m.

A bit more details coming through on a potential move across London for Demba Ba. Arsenal have offered £1.5million for the striker but Chelsea value him at nearer £3m for the loan fee.

Razak goes out on loan to Anzhi
Sportsmail's Adam Crafton writes about a City youngster on the move:
Manchester City midfielder Abdul Razak has joined Anzhi Makhachkala on a season-long loan deal.

The Ivory Coast international signed for City from Crystal Palace in 2010 but has struggled to break into the first-team set-up.

The 20-year-old has previously been sent out on loan to various lower-league clubs, after previous spells with Brighton, Portsmouth and Charlton.

Anzhi, who have hit major financial problems in recent weeks, are set to face Tottenham in this season's Europa League group stage.

Spurs quoted £8.5m for Hulk loan deal
Alex Kay suggests that incredibly, Tottenham might not be spent-up yet:
It seems Tottenham have been trying to add even more players to their squad. They asked about taking Hulk on loan from Zenit St Petersburg and were told ‘yes’ in return for £8.5million.

    Swansea look to Getafe's Vazquez
Both Dom King and Riath Al-Samarrai have come on with this tip about Vazquez:
Hearing that Swansea's striker will most likely come from abroad, apparently ruling out Vaz Te. At this point, anyway. Alvaro Vazquez of Getafe remains firmly in the frame.

Villa look to offload Ireland to Stoke
Neil Moxley on a player possibly being offloaded at Villa:
News seeping through that Stephen Ireland could be re-united with former Man City boss Mark Hughes at the Britannia Stadium. Be a big boost to Villa's wage bill if he leaves.

    Birmingham end spending drought
Neil Moxley reports as the Blues finally spend something:
After spending nothing - not a bean - in the past 12 months, Birmingham boss Lee Clark has been afforded some help in the transfer market after he was given the green light to sign Paul Caddis on a permanent deal from Swindon Town.

The club has cashed in on approximately £44million of talent in the past two years as financial problems have blighted the Championship side.
A fee in the region of £100,000 has been agreed for the former Celtic trainee.
