    No we dont have to please anyone.
    But i feel alot of pride in my club and its fans knowing how hard we have worked over the years to be welcomed everywhere we go.
    It would make me sad to think of celtic fans being met by riot vans and police at away games cause we was seen as the same as the huns or even england fans of the 80/90'.
    We may not be world beaters on the pitch anymore but in the ground and in the streets and pubs we can still be the best in the world.:50:

    Not saying we are the same. Saying there is not much difference. They may be worse, but that doesnt really mean much to me because I dont support Rangers. I support Celtic so it annoys me when people tarnish the name of the club. Rangers have become defined by their idiots, while we have not. But it is a worry that we are heading down that road. If it were rangers fans singing illicit chants, flying such banners, chucking flares and assaulting stewards people on here would be all over it.

    How so? Because I dont defend scumbags because they happen to support the same football team as me?

    As I said earlier, people on here revel in the fact the rangers idiot contingent cause bother, fight, get fined for singing songs, etc, etc. When our fans do it is it ok? Of course not.

    Why are you making things up? Is this your 'spin!' The banner was wrong! Simple as that and the Celtic Management were right to come out and say what they did, especially Neil! I think that it is ok to slag off the morons by having a go at their literacy skills too!

    fighting? must of missed that game? causing bother? we were fined for one add on in a song not for "songs" and I might add by people who were not even present at the game. If you really think our support is the same as the huns you are one sad mis guided loser.

    Reportedly the same idiot who unfurled the banner on thursday also attacked a steward. Against hearts last season our fans attacked stewards. Our songs have been reported in the past - this is just the first time we have been fined (and there is no reason to suggest it will be the last). I didnt say our support is the same. They arent. I said the idiot fringes of both supports are pretty similar. Gotta calm down and read what I am saying.
