  1. The only thing wrong with the banner was it never focused U£FA on the legitimacy of the republican movement but very crudely and sharply got to the point.

I hope we get fined, I hope we continue to get fined untill someone looks at the Irish Republican situation properly and learns what it is all about before telling us what songs should be illegal.

Article 19 of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states; Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers

    So * U£FA spot on:50:

  2. Yes it's a no. I don't have proof, therefore I'm lying. But well done you for exposing my sham of a statement.

  3. ^^^^

This. It's always the same; Club has been fined, UEFA will be looking in to flares and the sign, and it's some media agenda blah blah blah pish. NO IT'S NOT FFS!

Some folk are so * blinkered.

Nobody sings PIRA chants for * sake!!!!!

  5. thats the word that sums all of this up.

  6. Spot on mate! 100%!

  7. I didnt know that has been stopped. I must have missed the songs we are starting and stopping memo.

I dont care if they are "fellow fans" or not. I love celtic and I love the majority of our fans. We have a great reputation against our neighbours who have a pretty awful one. But to defend someone just because they happen to support the same football team as you is just mental in my eyes. I dont get it. There are plenty of idiots who support celtic and there are plenty of non-idiots as well. In this we are no different to any other fan base in the country. But when it comes to the point when said hateful numpties are actually getting the club into investigations and fined, fans will understandably condemn them.

As regards evidence, buddy, I really cant be arsed. I was at the game and was surrounded by people singing it. Have a look on youtube if it interests you and you might be lucky.

  8. Of course it was an overreaction but it was still a stupid thing to do.

How about you stop sticking the boot into your fellow supporters then with no way of backing up the spurious verbal diarrhoea that is pouring out of your mouth.

  10. Except that once last season against hearts...

And the Lennon song but that has been stopped?

The SAM song? Is that being sung or is that now stopped?

I dont understand the denial, I really dont.

  11. Melodramatic drivel. Blatant bullying? Uefa have a rule about political songs at games, we sang political songs, by those laws they had every right to fine us. They didn't just make up the rule so they could do us for something. They're not based in Scotland.

    LOL, the sam song.

    Get a * grip!

Lennon was changed to "he hates the rangers too" a good while ago.

  13. Stupid thing to do. What did they hope to achieve by this? They could have made a better banner with something witty and not just "* uefa" like a wee ned to get the point across.

What is wrong with the Provos anyway? Sure the legitimacy as not being a terrorist organisation is highlighted in th Good Friday Agreement.

    Some1 help me out please?!!

  14. That's a bit hypocritical, can I say the same to the banner waving fools from last night, cos that's exactly what they done got on their high horse about a fine that in my eyes is totally just!

  15. Pish Singing songs about War and famine is not political.

Tell me who am I trying to get elected?

  16. Nothing to do with the thread, but you kill innocent people for your own aims, I'm marking that down as 'terrorism'. Please refrain from mentioning the British army as is always the only reply to that, no one is talking about them.
The Lennon song was still being sung with the Provo reference last season.

  17. I'm not sticking the boot in, I'm saying what I've heard. At no point have I belittled anyone, looked down on anyone, I've just stated a fact as I see it. Which is why the mods aren't stepping in.

But it's not now so why even bring it up?

Honestly with fans like some in here who needs * enemies

  19. Your too busy worrying about what others think, how do you get through life?

The papers are saying this, these people will think that, our reputation, blah blah. Just enjoy yourself at the football, if you dont then theres plenty else to do.
