I'd prefer the second option, McCourt would slow us down even more I fear.

Even but poor 1st half imo, need to be alot smarter when we have the ball.
    Forrest is frustrating.

    I'm not picky.
I'd prefer this one to be honest. Sammy's playing pretty decent but wee Forrest, while he's no' been bad, seems to be a bit off the boil.

horrendous decision to blow for HT there.

Kayal, Sammy and even Broon have played well imo. Wee Forrest hasnt been at his best. he needs a chance to run at broadfoot one on one. not had one so far, bartley is always covering, though that could maybe free up samaras or a midfield runner

Forrest has ruined alot of our good possesion trying to do it all himself, needs to get crosses in, looks lost on the left, either change to a 433 and put samaras wide left and forrest right or bring on mcourt/ stokes for forrest and move it around so we have someone who can play on the left!!

If we pass the ball quicker we can cause them problems just dont have a final ball yet

HT well went pretty much as expected so far. We are dominating possession. They are trying to stifle the midfield and hit on the break. Only decent play they have is coming from Aluko which is our weak side in defence.

Early goal is needed to calm my * nerves

I know the conditions are bad, but wow, what a terrible half of football. It's games like these that show you how far the OF have fallen in quality terms.

We are far too slow in acting and reacting all over the park. It's as though nobody's told them that if thay win they are top of the table. Come on!

Poor game but suppose with the conditions that can't be helped.

Plus we could have been behind when they hit the post, Rogne and Mulgrew have dealt with Lafferty and Jelavic brilliantly.

Something confuses me... well MANY things confuse me! :icon_mrgreen:

Why do defenders take the ball and wait... nothing on... nothing on... nothing on... being closed down... pass back to the keeper... he's now being closed down even quicker because the opposing player has picked up momentum... and HOOF... the ball gets lumped up the park (best case scenario).

We all know that that's what's going to happen, so why don't the defenders just play a hope-full upfield ball themselves? Is it a outfield-player vanity thing (they don't want to be seen to be the one just smacking the ball upfield). Why put the pressure on the keeper to make the clearance!?

He's been playing great recently out on the right - his natural side.

But no, Lenny has to shift him over to the other side of the park, to accommodate Scott * Brown.

Which also means shifting Sammy - who's recently been playing brilliantly down the left - into the middle.

Result? Team balance knocked to *.

Probably frustrated as well. Would you be happy to lose your position to someone who offers very little in comparison?
