my team based on fitness and availability

    Forster
    Cha Wanyama Mulgrew Ledley
    Brown Ki Kayal Samaras
    Stokes Hooper

pity Forrest is struggling cause he'd be perfect to rip them to shreds, Rangers will focus on high cross field passes to Lafferty so Cha, Samaras & Ledley's height will be important on the flanks plus the work rate of Brown. I'd expect stokes and hooper to drag the rangers defenders around the park and tire them out. Lafferty & McCullagh are walking card machines, hopefully we dominate early and we'll see a few yellows dished out to the huns so they'll be threading carefully.
On form and paper we should win, my concerns are Cha in defence and Ki in CM in a 4 man midfield, although this mightnt be a game where we need to win midfield cause the huns will be lumping it forward, once Ki gets on top of davis i think we'll be in charge.
i can see a 2 nil win for us. we'll have a stronger bench to unload, they'll have more plodders.

i'll be gutted if forrest doesn't start. at times he's ripped better defences apart in europe than the huns, although those teams didnt sit back like they might do

Beginning to feel a bit nervous about this now that all the excitement of Christmas is over and this is the next big thing on the horizon.

Form goes right out of the window in these games, so their performance on Saturday against St Mirren will by no means reflect the way the approach this tomorrow night.

As always, I'll feel good right up until tomorrow night and then I'll be * myself. Love it and hate it at the same time :56:

    * off that the league has * about with the schedule, doesn't feel right playing the NY OF game on a * Wednesday night!

Don't think Stokes will start, Hooper on his own with Sammy out wide.

Would love to see Wanyama in the middle, but think he'll be used at CB.

Anyway, I'd like to see this, as I doubt Izzy should be risked against the hammer throwers.

    Forster

    Cha - Wilson - Mulgrew - Ledley

    Brown -- Kayal -- Wanyama -- Samaras

    Hooper --- Stokes

Emilio Izaguirre was on the bench for the Christmas Eve victory and he is fit and in contention for the derby game. Anthony Stokes and Adam Matthews are both fit and available for selection.

Georgios Samaras should also be okay for the game, having been suffering from a heavy cold, while James Forrest will be monitored between now and Wednesday night, having coming off just after half-time in the Kilmarnock game with a tight hamstring.
