Guess we may not find out until the last minute. Lenny may not want to give anything away before then

Not worried about jelvic at all in this game, its that * lafferty though, it's like we know he's * and so do the orc's it's just that he seem's to excell in these games. So I'm hoping they play one upfront and that one being jelvic then it's just long ball's all day up to him. No danger.

Excells in these games :97: hes scored 1 goal and has 0 assists in 16 games against us :56: if he's excelling in them then other * must be playing like they are Messi and Ronaldinho.

I think Cha has to start cause of his last few performances and I wouldnt throw izzy straight back into it..ledley is composed and has a good mind for that position.Let Kayal Wanyama win the ball and Let Broony,Forrest n Sami do all the running and make it easy for a Hooper hat trick...Glasgows grren and white...cmon the hoops

His record is bad yes, didn't realise it was that bad though lol.

It's just that I get nervous when he's in and around the box or up for corners and like I said I know he's pish. Can't explain it really.

Was going to say the same thing, he is * dreadful, if he was anywhere approaching a decent player he could have scored 5 against us in that last match, which is still the worst I've ever seen us defend. Even for his goal he took 3 attempts to finally put it in!

This game is massive, the huns may be on the ropes but it dosen't mean we will have it easy.

It would be a huge psychological boost if we could get the points and go top.

Really looking forward to this. Not sure if i agree with the general consensus that we could hammer them. I reckon Lennon and the boys will just be looking to get three points, and with that, sitting top of the League going into 2012.

The thing is, we haven't really hammered anyone in a good while (St Mirren is the only one that comes to mind). We've been incredibly solid for the most part, the defense (at times with 2 or 3 changes at a time) in particular have stood up to be counted and have seen us through some sticky spells.

I get the feeling that it's just about winning with us at the moment. Because we went through a bit of a torrid time early-mid season, the whole focus has been toward the results, rather than the performances. Rightly so too.

So i think it takes a big leap of imagination to think we're somehow going to run all over them and have a field day. There are some caveats like. The most obvious one being that the atmosphere at an Old Firm game (especially at Parkhead) can turn a 6/10 performance into a 7/10 performance. The other is, maybe we're just due handing a gubbing out to someone, and who better than Rangers - a depleted Rangers at that. We'll never get a better chance, put it that way.

The key is if we score early i reckon. Look at all those games at Parkhead recently. Against Killie it took a first half stoppage time goal to break the deadlock, and then we scored soon after half time. Against Hearts it was beyond the 70 minute mark before we eventually scored. As i pointed out, the one exception against St Mirren, we scored after 4 minutes.

I think if we score within the first 20 minutes on Wednesday night then we might see a chance to put a few past them on the counter attack with Samaras, Hooper, and Forrest. Especially if both Ki and Ledley play (i think they will). Both of those guys are the best we have at turning over possession quickly and intelligently. If we go a goal up early doors, Rangers will be forced to commit their full backs up the pitch that little bit more often, their central midfield players will have to get up and support their front man more regularly than usual and their center backs will probably have to push up and force the midfield forward.

Another thing that is key is whether Izaguirre starts. Not only that, if he does, the question is how quickly he settles back in and whether he plays at the pace we loved about him so much last season. What Izaguirre does so brilliantly, not even considering the stuff he does for us. What he's brilliant at is forcing the opposition's winger onto the back foot. He makes the full back hesitate going forward, because they know if they do, and get it wrong, Izaguirre is already at the half way line starting a counter attack. He is absolutely brilliant when you're trying to pin opposing teams into their own half. Plus he has astonishing stamina and pace on the counter. Ah, * it. I guess what i'm trying to say is - I love Emilio Izaguirre.

There are so many things to consider here. Do we go with Stokes/Hooper? Do we go Hooper up on his own at the risk of isolating him? Can we get support up to him quickly enough? Which ties into the next point - Will we get the good Samaras, or the bad one? If we get the good one, then support up to Hooper shouldn't be a problem. If it's the other Samaras, then Hooper does suddenly look lacking in people to play off. 'cause lets face it, Hooper comes into his own when he has loads of bodies around him and he can link. It's pointless having him up front on his own if your midfield is 40 yards further back. The other thing that concerns me if Emilio plays, and Sammie plays left midfield. Sammie isn't the best in terms of tracking back, and will it halt Emilio's attacking instinct if he thinks the big man won't be there to cover for him should be decide to have a wee foray forward?

If i was Lennon, i'd plump for this team:

    Forster

    Cha Wanyama Mulgrew Emilio

    Brown Kayal Ki Ledley Samaras

    Hooper

Anyway, it's all conjecture, i'm guessing that team won't be right, and i'm guessing a lot of that rambling pish i wrote above will turn out to be.... err, rambling pish!

A Celtic win though. Not like i'd say anything else.

I've been known to place a bet or two. So maybe that qualifies me as a betting man....

A betting man i may be, but a lucky man i most certainly am not.

Plus, can't be bothered jinxing it. If i'm putting money on anything it'll be Rangers.

Only sure way to guarantee a Celtic win!
