I hate when I see these threads, I always think back to the first game at Celtic Park game last Season when everyone thought we would pump them and we ended losing 3-1.

This is the type of thing Fat Ally will post in their dressing room to inspire them and fire them up.

We are the much better Football team, there isn't really any question about that, however, Ally knows this aswel, he will be playing dirty to escape without losing, make no mistake about that.

This is the Old Firm, form goes out the window, anything can happen, I'm not saying we should be scared of them, I honestly think we will beat them, I'm just saying saying we are going to give them a hiding when they are currently ahead of us in the league table is a bit daft.

Remember THAT game when we beat them by 2-0 when Sammy saved us at Ibrox? How many people thought Rangers would hammer us, I'll be honest, I thought they might, yet we end up going there and fairly comfortably beat them.

We should go into the game quietly confident we can take them, we shouldn't expect to hammer them.

I'll start to think about this one after the Killy game.

In recent weeks Rangers have struggled though, by all accounts they should have been beaten by Inverness on Saturday and were all over the place.

Watched the Hibs game myself were it was one of the poorest game i've seen this season. Rangers couldn't string 3 passes together.

Needed a penalty that should never have been and an O.G to beat bottom of the table Dunfermline.

Beaten by Killie and drew with St.Johnstone.

This has all been in the last month.

If we apply ourselves correctly we should win IMO.

-2 Celtic to win down the bookies for me.:50:

It's a big if. Lennon has some big decisions to make. I hope he plays our strongest 11, and attacks them. He gave them way too much respect at Ibrox earlier in the season and paid the price. The huns will try and kick, scratch, bite and cheat their way to a result. I can't see us winning it as comfortably as some are suggesting.

Apparently Marc Crosas reckons that he's going to be in among the Green Brigade for this one :97:

Would love for St Mirren to take something off the huns before the old firm. It would be good to beat them, but even better if we beat them to go top.

I don't want to be negative but I think we'll get beat.

I think we'll recover to win the treble though.

Got a bad feeling they will hit us on the counter all day. We seem to struggle against counter attacking teams especially after attacking corners and free-kicks.

    Must win game.

Yeah thats there game and they will set up the same way again in this one ,But they have'nt got enough ammo this time and rarely do I stick my neck out in these games but Ill be gobsmacked if they take anything away with them .
If Lennon does'nt change much and plays them like he plays anyone ,Celtic will take them ,I just don't see where they can hurt us unless Celtic give them a helping hand.

Yeah, Naismith is huge for them because of his pace and work rate when playing on the counter. Wylde and Bedoya are speedy so can see one of them being the main outlet rather than Jelavic who quite frankly doesn't have the pace.

They will either play; A 4-3-3 with Wylde and Lafferty on either side of Jelavic. It will be a carbon copy of what we are playing atm with Lafferty being their version of Sammy(Constantly hitting diagonals) and Wylde trying to be like Forrest.

Or, they will play a 4-5-1 with Wallace and Papac playing left side, a 3 man midfield of Edu, McCulloch, Davis and Lafferty on the right. That team wouldn't be the best on the counter but could prove hard to break down leading to us overload and causing problems when they counter.

Not as confident as maybe I should be in all honestly, these games are just impossible to call.

Sally would never consider playing a 4-3-3 against Celtic ,they would get humped and he knows it .

Your spot on with the 4-5-1 just to try and stop Celtic playing and they hope they could nick a point from us at Parkhead.:50:

Do that and I can see Celtic ripping them a new one.
