I know :38: We need Forrest for this one. He'll put all his effort into it and he's a key player.

Looking at the rangers team and wanting to nulify their threat as well as create our own, I would be looking at the fact they have no naismith and will be likely to play the two 6ft guys up top to launch balls towards.

In every game they have had lafferty pull onto the small left back (Izzy/Khadouri) causing us huge problems.

I think this time we can stop that happening by going with this....

    ------------------Forster
    Matthews---Wilson------Maj--------Mulgrew
    ---------------Wanyama
    Forrest----------Kayal---------------Izzaguire
    ---------Stokes--------Hooper

This gives us two brilliant wingers both on their good side, with plenty of aerial power and enough pace at the back to stop the huns game as well as making us a real threat on the attack.

I agree, people have been putting a midfield 4 of

    Brown Wanyama Kayal Ledley

Where is the creativity coming from? There is lots of graft and solidity but no gyle or someone who's going to bomb past a full back and whip in a cross for Stokes and Hooper.

This is Izzy is fit, which I don't think he will be.

I'd replace Rogne with Wilson as well, but apart from that it looks good :50:.

    Good post!

Would be happy to go with this starting 11. Pace, power and creativity.

Centre backs and centre mid will be key for this game. The 4 of them play well we'll control it start to finish.

    Hail hail............

    Forrest Kayal Ledley Commons
    Hooper Stokes

Subs - Zaluska, Cha, Majstorovic, Brown, Ki, McGeouch, Samaras

Defence doesn't have much experience but Wanyama and Rogne are still the most composed CB's we have. And if Izzy is fit we need Ledley back in midfield to help cover Izzy's runs forward.

Just hope we don't give these * too much respect like we've done in the past. Ledley and Kayal are more than capable of dealing with Edu and McCulloch without having to resort to a midfield of Brown Kayal Wanyama Ledley.

I agree with what someone said earlier here, it is a little ahead to start picking line ups

I don't believe this will be a title decider either. I'm pretty sure we said the same thing about the January 2nd and February 20th games too (both of which we won), yet as we all know, we dropped stupid points in other games and it cost us the title.

You know what I'm totally fed up with?

Showing this shower of * too much respect. They have been poor for a while yet just because its rangers we are hesitant to go out and play our own game.
    * them!!!! We have better players and should not be scared of these arseholes.
Just go for it. Stokes and Hooper up front, get in their faces and let's see a spanking of the average mess that is rangers.

Far too early for Izzy to play or to select a lineup. Also, it is not a title decider by any means. My prime concern is a good seat in the pub and hopefully a win for Celtic:icon_mrgreen:

I agree with this. We should not be running scared because they are slightly better than the other ten teams in the league. Stokes and Hooper up front is the only way to go in this game. We should win it easily if they both start alongside each other.

We started the year with a win over the scum, now lets finish the year with a win over them.

Time to shave the lead! With Rangers lacking in the forward department, hopefully they'll drop some points around the holiday season, and lose a couple of players in the mid-season window. :icon_mrgreen:

Who knows, this game could take us top of the league.
