When we got cuffed last season at Parkhead by them I think we missed Brown that day, he really gives us dig in midfield when we need it.

For me the midfield to start against Rangers should be

    Ledley, Kayal, Wanyama, Brown,

Rangers have no wingers of note so for me the key would be to push them narrow to our strong centre and let Brown and Ledley drive forward from wider positions.

Right side of midfield for me is Browns strongest position, he played great there last season with Kayal and Ledley in the middle.

I'm looking forward to the whole day in the pub! Have work the next day booked off, working the Fri instead. Is it a 12:00 kick off or around 3pm? I need to plan!

If I was Lenny I would go for

    Forster
    Matthews Mulgrew Majstorovic Ledley
    Forrest Kayal Wanyama Samaras
    Hooper Stokes

Although if Izzy is fit enough obviously him at left back and I wouldn't be too surprised or annoyed if Brown is in for Forrest or Wanyama because Broony is one of the only major players to have stepped up in the last OF, and Ki has been poor in the pressure games this season so I don't think he's ready/good enough to go in the team. Maybe Forrest and Wanyama aren't ready yet either but i'm fairly confident both should be settled in and up for it enough.

I'm gonna try not get too carried away or confident with this one because we should have won - and were winning - the last one. Same team as then but it's all about mentality on the day.

Luckily now we've got mental and physical fitness back in the squad, if we win every game until then which we should then regardless of what they do, the seed of doubt is well and truly in their mind.

We should win as man for man we are better in 8 positions on the park at least, but it really is all about who turns up because they are organised and will shut us out, we had chances to score against Atletico in another recent big home game and just couldn't take them - i'm not willing to accepy any excuses on the 28th - all chances have to be buried.

We really should beat them by 2 or 3 goals though. I will not be at all saddened by a 1-0 93rd minute win if that happens either though :icon_mrgreen:

I'm getting the plane up from London for this. Will be getting out my bed at 4am and will crack open my first tin on the way to the airport i.e. at about 4.30am. So will have been drinking for about 15 hours before kick off. Cannot wait for this one.

    Forster

    M.Wison - K.Wilson - Majstorovic - Mulgrew

    Wanyam - Kayal

    Brown - Forrest - Stokes

    Hooper

Think Having Stokes hugging the left touchine will alow him to cut inside and create problems. Brown can also drop back to help; creating a 4-3-3.

This is if Ledley, Commons and Emilio are all still out. Ki could also play for Forrest.

Rangers are looking really dodgy. This will be the title decider for me. If Rangers win they will go on to win the title. If we win Rangers will be rattled and bottle it.

These games around mid season are huge.
