Agreed. The Christmas holiday binge will taste like ashes if we don't batter * out of that scummy mob.

Agreed. Imagine if we fight so hard to keep the gap at 4 (or less) points, then pish away all our hard work by getting beat off of they diddies.

It's gonna be a tough match for sure but I'm fairly confident that we can get a win if we play well.

Can't wait. Feeling confident, though that confidence may increase or decrease depending on performances between now and then.
Lenny has a real dilemma in midfield; Izzy may well be back, so no place for Ledley at the back, however he deserves to be in the team, so who goes? Kayal and Wanyama should definitely be in there, Forrest can't be dropped, Samaras has been terrific of late and Brown and Commons can both make a big impact, particularly against the huns. I could see Lenny putting Stokes up front on his own with a midfield 5 of Forrest, Kayal, Ledley, Wanyama and Commons. We'll have to see. Either way, their midfield is * and if Kayal and Wanyama can boss them, which they should easily, then they'll have very little in terms of attacking threat. Jelavic is only good if he gets service from the midfield.

Gives us the option of Brown, Samaras, Commons and Ki off the bench. Felt bad leaving Majstorovic and Samaras out but we need our best team for this.

how should we line up ?
We should line up the same way we line up for our other matches, with our regular settled team. I feel in the past we have made the mistake of treating the Rangers games like too much of a big deal, and altering our side "to suit". They have showed for most of this season that they are just another SPL team, and we should treat them as such with our team selection. Let them chop and change in fear of us, if they choose.

    Predictions ?
I think we will win. It's a home game, we are the form team, and the old adage of "form goes out the window at Old Firm games" is actually bollocks. If you look through the history of the fixture, it's usually the form team that wins.

What are you confident most about ?
The link-up play between our midfield and attack.
Stokes, Hooper, Forrest and Samaras are all combining in a quite impressive way at the moment, and we can cause them serious problems. Also Matthews going forward is linking well.

    Worries ?
No worries. The main things which are likely to endanger us are refereeing decisions, Jelavic (if he hits form), and our own defence (if they don't). I can see McGregor struggling to keep them in it.

    Forster

    Matthews Majstorovic Mulgrew Izaguirre

    Forrest Kayal Wanyama Ledley

    Hooper Stokes

We still don't have any idea who'll be available for the game. Hard to predict a team at the moment.

    Just get them pumped.

I don't just want to scrape a win I want to embarrass them, to plant a seed of doubt in their minds.

At least 3-0 but 5 or 6 would be better.

If Izzy is fit then I'd go for:

    Forster
    Matty - Mulgrew - Majstorovic - Izzy
    Forrest -- Wanyama --- Kayal -- Samaras
    Hooper --- Stokes

Cannot * wait for this game.

That team looks good, but I feel it would be a risk throwing a 20-year-old Wanyama into a crucial Rangers game. I know he seems calm and assured, but he'll never have experienced anything remotely like this.

I would go for Ledley in the middle with Kayal. We can bring Vic on later if we are couple of goals up...

I feel more confident now because we have players that can negate some of rangers strengths. No naismith to feed balls into jelavic who can hurt us. We have Kayal and Wanyama who will boss Davis and Edu in the middle of the park. We have Matthews who can counteract the pace of wylde if he does play.

Wylde isn't very good put pace can hurt celtic so matthews or cha negates wyldes one talent. Whatever team is available on the day we should have enough to beat this manky mob, but we have to be up for it from the first second.

Discussion of line-ups is way too soon. We have first team players, that may well feature in this match, playing bounce games for chrissake. At the moment, it's too soon.

Personally speaking, I would like to see the inclusion of Rogne, Izaguirre, Brown, McCourt and Bangura in the match squad, at least.

    * buzzing for this already. Have been since the last one in September.

    Forster

    Matthews Rogne Mulgrew Izaguirre

    Forrest Kayal Wanyama Ledley

    Stokes Hooper

    Subs:

    Zaluska.
    Ki.
    McGeough.
    Samaras.
    Brown.
    Majstorovic.
    Cha.

I'm not going to bother predicting the score, but if we start with both Loovens and Majstorovic out of the defence and Rogne and Chico back in, I'm confident we will win. The rest of the team is more than good enough to beat those manky *. Stokes must start.

It feels amazing to be able to put Izzy back in the team line ups again, as I'm confident he will be fit to face them. He has already started full training again and has another three weeks to get himself ready.

Really can't wait for this. 21 days and counting.

To hard to predict line ups now, but if Jella is being sold in January he may not even play in this game. If he gets injured they would be fecked for a fee. The only thing that can beat us is ourselves to be honest. Keep winning and the confidence high and we'll be fine.
