If it wasn't for the fact he's captain, I think he'd struggle to get back in the team, I would be very disappointed if someone like Forrest or wanyama was dropped for him. I think it's time for him to move on to be honest.

I will be very disappointed if we lose our club captain on a free or for a token fee due to the inability of our board to sort out his contract. As it is Brown is now in such a strong position that he can dictate what he is going to do.

This should have been sorted in the summer or before. We have been guilty of losing players for free too often in recent seasons.

I am torn over whether we should play him.

If we play him, we have his influence in the team, but we risk bringing him back too soon, and him ending up out of action for another few months.

Personally I think we should play it safe, and rest him for a while longer.

I'm thinking maybe a year or two, you can't be too careful.

Glad Broonys Back/Broony to Sign New Contract Tomorrow

So no doubt he'll be back in the starting line up against Ddutd at Tannadice in the game on Sunday.

It was a scunner without him playing for so long

Back to business as usual and another 3 points in the bag!!!!

Our central midfielders are all more talented than him, he'll be pushed out wide and will probably be starting because he's one of Lennon's favourites. I'm with you though, Forrest can't be dropped.

Don't want to see Forrest pushed out left, never as effective.

Broony did fine tonight mind. Passing was tidy.

I would rest Forrest at the weekend and play Brown on the right, the wee man looked a little jaded tonight.

However wee Jimmy will be right back were he belongs next match, Brown will just have to bide his time and fight for his place imo.

I would rotate him and Forrest. It is unthinkable to drop Forrest the way he has been playing but we cant have him playing too much or he will get burned out and injury prone later in his career. He looked very tired tonight so it is a good time for Broony to be returning

Yes, I so have missed the mis-placed passes, headless chicken runs and mandatory bookings.

Will be marvellous to have him back to spoil our team's great run of form and give us much needed imbalance.

    Welcome back .. 'captain'.

i'd have him on the right of midfield. Forrest could do with a rest imo and we shouldn't do anything that will stop Samaras' current form as we all know he has it in him to fall on his back side with ease.

i like Brown, probably the most controversial player in hoops after Samaras.
