    we cant afford to lose out on a fee for him 4m poss and thats the way it looks.a player in the last year of his contract we should extend or sell,i feel this has been deliberately dragged on till jan where player and agent make more money.whether you like or dislike brown we cant afford to lose out on a fee for him,but sadly this is how its looking

    We HAVE to re-sign brown, can't let such a talent leave on a free.

    looks like you were spot on mate

    i had similar thoughts

    in his time with us we have hardly ever seen the player that was superb with hibs

    he's been a huge flop

    i wouldnt be surprised if he ran his contract down and signed for the *

    It's simple mate. If he was happy, he would have signed weeks ago.

    At the end of the day only Brown decides if he wants to sign or not. His agent has no authority when it comes to that decision - he only provides Brown with greedy advice.

    They both seem to be dreaming of very big bucks.

    Brown seems to be spend as much time out injured - or suspended - as he does on the park. He might have fight but he can also be a big liability, especially when played at CM. For all that he is demanding a premium wage. I just hope Celtic tell Brown's agent to take a hike. The agent is employed by the player, not the club, so it should be Brown who picks up the agent's fee, not the club.

    The club refused to pick up the tab when we were close to signing the Spanish defender Ivan Ramis in January 2010. The deal was done, but the players agent insisted the club pick up the tab, so Celtic rightfully told him to take a hike. Same should be the case now.
