    +1

The five in the middle would have worked well if Ki had turned up. He didn't tackle and his passing was rotten. We would have been better playing Dylan McGeough.

Bottom line is we know what we have to do in Italy = Win
I would have taken that before tonight because I don't think Udinese
    are that big shots.

We only need to win 1-0 against Udenese. Is it home or away? It's definitely do-able at home but I don't fancy our chances away.

to summarise wot i felt about us tonight ,we definatley lack up front ,a target man not even top notch ,just enuf to put corners away ,we lost control of midfield when wayama got subbd and let them dictate play ,which caused us to stand off to much.
defence coped well until wanyama went off and ki got dropped into that position,so for me defence are not good enuf to allow our outfield players to do their jobs ,therre is a lack of trust, then there is gk he dont trust the cb pairing and they dont trust him,so wot lenny has said is spot on we need a strong cb and big physical striker to allow the team to play to its strength . wots your views of us tonight and how to improve.

We were playing really well up until their goal, that took the wind out of our sails completely.

Ah well, onwards and upwards, Sunday is the more important game anyway, as long as we do the business in that one then I'll be happy.

Decent enough performance, they have some top quality players. Diego was completely pulling the strings, especially later in the game. Not too disappointed, still enjoyed the atmosphere at CP and Europa League is certainly not our priority. A win against Udinese is a tall order, right enough.

    Away.

Its easy to forget we where playing a top class team but we had our chances. There goal knocked us for six though. Also I think Ki should have been hooked instead of Vic.

I said that at the time as well, that Ki should've been off instead, but Lennon was saying after the game that big Vic was struggling with a wee injury, think it was a dead leg.

Scoreline is irrelevant, a win will take us through on head to head against them.

look good for half an hour and vanished for the last hour forrest was a waste of a jersey tonight as was ki who was rotten.Forster i'm still not convinced on just dont see it at all nowhere near good enough. On a positive note though loovens and maj are growing on me,Kayal was excellent towards the end matthews was solid again and broony done not bad when he came on

I thought we were excellent tonight, the standard of football was first rate at times.

For me one of the best aspects of the team is the understanding between Stokes, Forrest and Hooper, so I wouldn't like to see either striker replaced by someone who is there for physical size rather than talent.

There's not much point playing a target man unless you are intending to lump long balls up to him. And why do that, when we're doing so well - and looking so good - playing it quickly and intelligently on the deck?

Ahh, I wasn't too sure if it would go down to goal difference or not if Celtic win it.

Edit: How would a head to head work? 1 match at a neutral venue or 2 legs with a game at each ground?

No, what he means is that head to head against Udinese we'd have taken 4 points, while they'd only have taken 1 from us (the draw at Celtic Park). Assuming we beat them over there.

Brown may be influential but its not for the better, he influences the team through bad passes, silly bookings and horrible positioning. He is our weak link in the midfield, Kayal, Ledley, Ki, Wanyama and forrest are all better than him. What we needed was to string some passes together and get some momentum. With brown nothing in the game changed when he came on except that we had one less striker up front
