There is a reason the odds are so high... we have Glenda and Dan at the back, they have Falcao up front....!

We will almost definitley concede at least 1, but i still reckon we can grab a win tonight if we take our chances!!

Just because the fans had a banner directed at a player who played for us decades ago (in response to him rightly or wrongly branding their team scum) means nothing. What a ridiculous leap you've made.

Im gonna stick my neck out on this tonight. Dont usually forecast but I dont think Madrid will score. Our defence looked as comfortable as I have seen them this season.

Forster is looking like the keeper we were hoping he would be. His catching and decision making on saturday was excellent. Given the conditions, his grip was superb. Matthews and Ledley have got a lot of energy at the back and I feel they will cope with any wing play and Dan and Glenda seemed to work well together.

Madrid will get a real fright if we can attack them with the same pace as we did on saturday. Assuming Neil plays the same side.

Stokes and Hooper's quick interplay accompanied by Forrests wing play and (hopefully) Sammy doing a turn on the left coule reap dividends. The team's confidence is as high as it has been for some time, while they are coming off a whipping against Real Madrid and real problems with discipline.

    2.0 for me.

I appear to be the only one feeling pessimistic about this game. I'd love to proven wrong of course...

    Where'd you see that about?

Surely this will be the game that sells most tickets? Our highest attendance in the group so far was against Udinese, 37,000.

Where did you hear this? Some guy on the previous page said he heard 40,000. I was expecting 35 at the least.

Nah mate, I think the over-optimism is slightly misplaced personally. Weirdly it's because the huns got beat everyone has a wee bit of wind in their sails.

    I think it'll be a score draw.

    Let the people sing,
Think it'll be a good game but we'll have to play out our skins to win tonight because i'm struggling to see anything other than a draw or madrid win. The thing swinging in our favour is that they are just off the back of a 4-1 drubbing at the Bernabeu during which they played the majority of the game with 10 men and finished with 9 men. Hopefully they are tired, our men are a yard hungrier and really helped on by the support, and we just do the simple things well. No silly mistakes please, don't give them a wee goal start because we're generous just make it hard for them and get in their faces from the off - don't let them settle. Hopefully the ref has good game and theres no dodgy decisions.

Still think 2-2. I know its a game we all want to win, but a draw against this side would still be a respectable result.

Wish we could've sold more for this game, this should be selling out considering we are lucky to be in the group stages and * knows when we'll qualify the normal way again.

If we do win, i have a sneaky feeling Samaras will steal the show.

I'd love us to qualify for the next round, and I'd expect us to beat Udinese in our next match, but this one will very difficult to win.

Our previous home games under Lennon have been good results really unbeaten in 5, scored 8 conceded 3. Would like us to remain unbeaten at home but Atletico will be the best team we've played so it will be difficult. Could go either way, im nervous about it even though I dont really care what happens as I want to win at the weekend more.
