So Lennon is the only manager in the history of football to critisze his players? Get a grip mate. Your clutching at straws, he's done nothing for you to slag him for recently so your finding little problems and escalating them into something massive.

Don't know about your upbringing mate, but to be fair, if i see some mental case walking around kicking bottles in anger or randomly shouting at people in public, I do think there is something up with that dude.

But on a serious note, he is the figure head of our club. He needs to act accordingly.

And openly critising players in the media is terrible form.

I remember sitting in the stands during the Martin O'Neill era when we pumped teams by 4 or 5 goals on a regular basis and wishing the games had a bit more edge to them. Now we have the edge, the excitment & the panic and i'm * myself now and moaning about it and wishing it was back to the other way. Football fans can be a funny bunch sometimes :icon_mrgreen:

You mean the same 'poor management' who have won the past few games? Including a tough Europa League game?

We didn't scrap, it was a nervy ending, so what? We got the 3 points after some brilliant football.

I am not escalating them mate, I am simply just pointing out its another bit of stupidity from Lennon. Regardless if it is big or small with the current media circus our club has become, its just stupid doing stuff like that.

The fans should have been pleased to get the points too, works both ways.Lennon done no worse than what any other manager would have done, well Mowbray would have ran down the tunnel with his head between his legs.

To be fair, I would expect us in normal form with that team to easily see Rennes off at home.

My point is he is hardly winning in awesome fashion. The team is still playing * football. Apart from the first half of the mid week game

To be honest it was really anything. Mourinho often losers his temper, Fergie chucked a boot at Beckham and Clough jawed a fan. It happens to the best of them. It's barely even an incident, it will go away in a day or two then someone interesting happens for the media to post about.

Some people need to stop thinking Lennon's behaviour is "shocking".

The reason he comes across like that is because the rags pick and choose what photographs they show after the matches (and in Lenny's case for months afterwards).

The only photo you see after the "shame game" is this

    But where was this photo?

The point is there are cameramen snapping away all game from all different angles and could easily have pictures of angry managers from every game all over the world.

You have to ask yourself why they don't show these all the time but are quite happy to print Neil's every * day...

Open your eyes and stop believing the gutter rags!

Yeah until he * up again.

And those 3 managers some of the most successful the English and European game has ever seen. When your successful your stupid behavior can be forgiven. In the eyes of the media.

Rennes aren't an easy team, but we still beat them 3-1. So we did beat them that you asked.

We are an spl team, we can't win in an awesome fashion, we have to scrap a few games, which we are doing well. The football we are playing isn't *. Rangers barely win any game in an awesome fashion, they grind out pretty much every result, but no one complains about it, and they won the spl last year, so we have to do the same and that's what we're doing. Playing average and getting the result is what makes champions!

Thats where Mogga messed up IMO. He was trying to play this beautiful attractive football but that can't really be done in Scotland.

I don't read the rags. But I am sure they are completely anti Lennon mate.

Whatever, this is a never ending circle I don't like him, you do. agree to disagree?

Even if the examples of Lennons' behaviour that you gave were indeed "shocking" you could only cite three incidents!

Three incidents in 2 years, one of which was kicking a water bottle as he watched the league slip away!!

You are a card, successful managers can lose the rag but not Lenny?

You clearly have an agenda and I'm not going to waste my fingertips on you anymore.

A 2 second 'incident' is hardly * up.

He has only just started his career, if some of the best do it then it shows it isn't just Lennon, the fact that they are so good only strengthens my point.

You don't need to play beautiful football to batter a team. After the first half performance it should have been 4-0. But it was not, yet the players came back out and played as if it was.

I don't buy that winning * is the mark of champions pish. Its the mark of a team not playing well. We have hardly played well all season. Fact is we have the team to absolutely batter this league and we are not.

No need for those types of comments.

I named 3 because even if i named 20 things, you will batter them down with your Neil Lennon can do no wrong views. So what is the point.

If you cant debate, don't get into them.

We don't need to play beautiful football, and we don't need to win in an awesome fashion, that's my point.

Well yeah, the best teams can play poor and still win, as the Huns have proved for the past two years.

We are on the up now, playing better, winning, and players coming back from injury, we should be getting behind the team!! Keep the faith my friend :50:

    LOL, what type of comments?

I've been criticising Lennon all season, you can go on the other forums I am on for proof of this.

But I'm not going to slate the man for showing a bit of passion and I'm * sure not going to slate him when we seem to be turning round our season, albeit slowly.

    Still in four competitions...
