Allright, due an upgrade in couple of months and dont know what phone to get.
Would love an iphone, but realistically im not going to pay any more than 35 a month so cant see myself getting an iphone.

Main things I want the phone for:

    Watching videos (in good resolution)
    Browsing internet (fast)
    Apps
    Good camera
    Good looking.

Was thinking about the Galaxy Nexus.

What can you guys recommend ?

Can always go for the iPhone 4 and not the new 4s.
But apparantly the new Samsung galaxy has outsold the new iPhone so far. Personally i'm an iPhone type of guy

Only problem with the S2 being it's massive, excellent phone though both in terms of hardware and software.

HTC Sensation, Samsung Galaxy S 2, and the Google Nexus are great phones for the tasks you mentioned.

You could always just keep your upgrade in its box and sell it, then put the cash towards buying an Iphone 3GS/4/4S handset.

Samsung Galaxy S blows the IPhone away in my opinion.....have had both and would not go back to the Iphone. If you get the Samsung Galaxy S you won't be disapointed. I'm on a £30 a month tariff with Orange.

Carphone Warehouse do really good deals on the more expensive phones.

Never had a contract with them but thinking of going with them next.

Android, the operating system the S2 and the majority of HTC's operates with, has an ever growing market place. It's not as big as iOS but it is getting bigger all the time.

iPhone 4S is easily the best phone you can get just now.

The iPhone does have a lot more apps, but as an iPhone user myself I can confirm 85% of them are *, the best apps are usually also available on Android.

I heard the white HTC sensation comes with Beats headphones, probably gonna be my next upgrade.

That's very debatable mate.....A lot of the gadget websites independent reviewers are giving the Samsung Galaxy S 2 the nod over it now. The weight of the IPhone compared to the slimline Galaxy is enough to put me off....The Iphone weighs a ton. (lol)

Have Htc sensation, think its a brilliant phone up there with the galaxy s2, think Htc sense is so much better than touch wiz for the samsung but its all about opinion, also the feel of the htc is so much better than the samsung.

Samsung galaxy 3 is going to be announced in Feb along with the Htc Edge so i would wait for them cause they are going to be awsome :50:

Depend show much you use it i guess, i get a full day out of it, just charge it before i go to bed at night and it last me the full day.

Dont put things like live wallpapers on, as that runs your battery right down, download a task killer from the market and that helps also.
