    TM got dragged into this "win title in first season" you will be a hero.
    too much changes made to quick

    yet is doing well with limited resources at Boro now.

    Mowbrays mistake was taking a sledgehammer to the team in January. Never enough time to build a new team and settle them right into a title battle which in all honesty was never a real battle. Got a few ok results in Europe. Barnes had money and some decent players but no tactical knowledge and in reality was the fall guy for a certain Kenny Dalglish who was away on the golf course when he could have been helping the new guy out.

    The appointment of Barnes was a joke, great player but never a manager.

    The appointment of Mogga smacked of desperation, he just got his team relegated and the board rewarded him by giving him the Celtic job.

    Mowbray was better.

    You know what why was JB was given the job in the first place did KD have an input? must have was he interviewed on his own or were JB&KD in the room together? looks like a hard sell job by KD if you ask me to take somone on with little or no management experience and no connection to Celtic.

    John Barnes has failed at every manager job he's ever been in.

    Tony Mowbray did well at Hibs, West Brom and is now getting Middlesbrough moving in the right direction. There's really no debate as far as who the better football manager is out of these two.

    I have a lot of time for Tony Mowbray even though things didn't work out for him at Celtic.

    I think King Kenny, was John Barnes's promotor, and I think he had a big say in his appointment. I don't fully condemn J.B. for the full shebang, because remember K.D. was director of football, supposed to be the experienced shoulder for Barnes to lean on, in times of struggle. Most of the time though K.D. was hardly ever seen, remember the I.C.T. result ? do you remember Big Viduka refusing to go out for the 2nd half ? Where was Kenny ? Abroad playing golf, thats where. Loved you as a player for us, but challenge you, for putting J.B. out to dry, and left Celtic to be humiliated with this result. Ask yourself how many other times this happened ?
