I've watched him 4 or 5 times this season and he's been a clear standout. Would love us to take a punt on him.

Genuinely cannot see this happening. West ham or someone * like that will be in for will.

Same, he will get sold for something ridiculous like £8m.

Your comparison game was clearly a bad one, comparing Rhodes to Kris Boyd is miles off the mark. He's nowhere near as slow as you claim and his first touch is regularly excellent.

No way! I love Stokes. Let's keep him and Hooper, get rid of Bangura, Murphy and Samaras; bring in Rhodes and a big JVoH type.

People keep saying we have no chance getting him, and that big clubs are interested, but none of them made a move in January.

More chance of Samaras doing the business in European matches than Stokes. If Stoke is happy to sit on the bench all season, that's fine though.

Add in a CB, cut the deadwood, and throw in Rafal Wolski as a possible alternative to Henriksen (though I'd be happy with either), and I'm with you. :50:

Don't agree at all. Stokes is a much better striker than Samaras. GS has done well recently, but lacks Stokes' sheer vision and ability to see a shot.

Stokes is an SPL player and not even close to being more. Not good enough for Europe.

Not at all. He's as good as Hooper: just a different type of striker. I think he'd do a good job for us in Europe.

theres no guarantee that Rhodes could do a job for us in europe either though.

Was thinking the same, don't think many premiership teams will take a punt at the price quoted for a player from league one, if he'd scored those goals in the championship maybe, even Hooper didn't have a lot of prem teams after him when he scored 20+ in the championship

there's no guarantee that any striker we would be shopping for will do a job in Europe. We have European options already anyway.

An on form Stokes is not a patch on an on form Hooper.
