I would love to ask Neil Lennon why he hasn't tried him at least once in the hole behind strikers that's what's so annoying about being a nobody in the clubs eyes we can't ask this stuff.

Especially after what he done in youth team ( under 20s ) in that position

Part of the problem is we don't seem to have an attacking-midfield/link-up play specialist coach. Nearest we had was Thompson. We could do with a bit of work on our attacking movement, and Neil could do with tactical help when it comes to setting up an attack in a way that's less one-dimensional than we currently play, e.g. using CAMs, inside-forwards or a 'number 10' trequartista type.

If we had that kind of presence in the coaching staff, I think Neil would come round to the idea of using a CAM, and McGeouch would probably get a game more often.

Seen him drive up Springfield rd on Sunday after the game,in his fancy white motor ,was parked at the lights next to the vaults pub

He had the Rebs blasting out his motor.......:icon_mrgreen:

  5. He should definitely be given the license behind the striker/s with a run not the odd game or cameo as a sub with 15 left to prove what he can do...

I honestly think he is are most exciting/best young player we have but he's getting to the stage now (20 I think) where if not given a real chance we're not gonna be able to call him a rising star and he will be stuck in the middle development bracket and may need to move on....

Have total faith that we will see a lot more of dylan next season and in the next few weeks and pre season

Hahaha. We're crying out for a player like that - wouldn't even need to be of that kind quality: just a guy in the middle, in front of the ball-winners but behind the striker, to distribute the ball decently and try to control the pace of the game. I really think McGeouch and Rogic could both grow into that role.

I meant get lubo back as a coach to drill it in to Lennon that that's the right way to go.

Your correct but Dylan or rogic would be good there.

Would much rather see one of our own tried first ( Dylan )

I saw Oor Dylan turn Real Madrid inside out.
IMO he would make wee (cuts inside too many times Forrest) look like a sunday league player. I like what this player stands for, a real ear to the ground one of us ghuys player that knows what it means to play for us.
Needs more games to shine. Less of this NL gameplan that lasts for 70 mins then press the panic button .... individual flair has been known to win games before, just read Roy of The Rovers.

Does anyone think if neil goes it could be a good thing for Dylan ? As maybe he will be played in his actual position and giving more game time

Not that I want him to, but yes. Dylan's development has been extremely poorly managed, as a result he will turn 21 next season and only have about a 25 professional games under his belt. Crazy for a prospect of his talent. A complete waste of the most crucial years of his development. Should have been on loan getting game time at CM.

The broken jaw in the friendly really * his season, was a really nasty injury and it was obvious he lost a little spark after it. That coupled with constantly being played out of position meant he hasn't really made too much progression this season.
