Tenacity and hard work ?? Is that not the least you would expect from any player pulling on the hoops. Could take a player out of our under 15's and you would be guaranteed that.

Our most potent threat?? He didnt create one chance in open play for any of our players. I say open play incase you claim that corner he took was a great chance for us

Instrumental in getting us up the park to launch attacks?? What attacks are you on about?? We hardly had an attack in the whole game.

So yes he didnt play brilliantly, why you seem intent on saying he did baffles me. Head and shoulders above anything else on the park and mom is nothing short of astounding. Watch the highlights of the game and tell me what contribution he makes to a highlights package for the game. Ill tell you, NONE! So yes he had a brilliant game and was mom

I watched the game live that night and didnt remember him doing anything spectacular. I watched his best bits video posted by Sean and i still didnt see anything spectacular. Iv now read the post stating his involvement in the game and its actually laughable. Are you telling me that is a motm performance reading what he done in the game?? Are you also telling me he was head and shoulders above "anything else on the park" in that game?? Please take the green tinted specs off for just 1 second please. mate I have never said he was motm in that game, but his performance was exciting and showed his potential as he was up against a team flooded with world class players and he did well, whether you want to admit it or not. He showed what he can do last season, albeit it was in one game but he has also looked a class above the rest for the youth team so hopefully he can make a big step up in the future because IMO he is our best and most exciting young talent

 

Taking into consideration his age, the opponents, his level of experience etc. I thought he was utterly incredible.

I genuinely believe we have a massive talent on our hands with this lad.

I think the opponents must be the pertinent point here. It wasn't Brechin or Peterhead, it was Real Madrid.

To expect any more from the lad against a team of that standing is unreasonable, and he done more than would have been expected of him.

He was playing as a right winger, yet he tracked back, made tackles and moved us up the park. All the qualities you want in a winger against superior opposition... AND HE ISN'T EVEN A * WINGER!!!

 

Not MOTM, but certainly a cracking performance against REAL MADRID.
