I want him out as well but you're going overboard here. Get a grip of yourself.

You're just one of many hypocrites on here. I bet you were running to offer your best wishes to him when he was getting nail bombs sent through the post and being attacked in the street.

It's one thing to want a new manager in, but to say things like "* off and don't come back" is disgraceful, not to mention terribly immature on your part.

Neil Lennon will always be welcome at Celtic regardless of how he does as manager.

    My main points

    • I want Lennon to succeed as manager. Nobody wants him to fail here.
    • I'm 50/50 on him just now. I thought he'd turned it round at Easter Road but Saturday was absolutely abysmal.
    • Whether sacking him or not is the answer... something NEEDS to be done because our team just isn't working just now. Nobody can deny that.

I also want him to succeed, im no going to be calling for anyones head because i could contemplate doing any of there jobs.

    Im 50/50 on his ability.

What needs to be done is whats been needing done since MON left, spend 20-30 mil if need be and get a solid back four in place that can play and defend.. build from the back like all good managers do, why thats always overlooked is beyond me.

i cannot understand why the off field issues that faced Neil Lennon is brought up by some when he is criticised. Is Lennons ability not to be questioned ?

Lennon brings out the worst in other teams fans, not his fault but true, which in turn brings out the worst in Celtics fans and Celtics reputation as was shown during the mccoist lennon handbags last season.

his antics in mid week against hibs is another example that he should not be managing Celtic. He does not have the ability or temperment.

He´ll never come back but Lenny would make a great assistant manager but there is no way we can keep having Lenny in charge, He can´t handle it.

WGS - lol we were all pulling our hair out in his last season, the football was dire to watch and he was far to smug when interviewed almost cringe-worthy, least lenny tells it how it is.

WGS again...nah no thank you i'll glady suffer in the hope that like anything in life.. given time he'll/the team will come good, like i already mentioned same as hundreds of others on here we only need a solid back four and most our troubles will be over.

Thats how i see it anyway, its our defence thats doing the damage. If we change manager again its going to be a worse few years ahead than present and i dont want to suffer this anymore, the failings are there to see since MON left, inability to bury those manky * because the board wont spend the cash we needed spent on buying good pedigree players, no we buy bargain buys and free's.... they buy jellyfish for 4 odd mill we buy 2 for that, nuff said.

Personally I'd like a new manager but you don't go saying idiotic stuff like GTF LENNON DONT COME BACK, he's one of the Celtic greats and as someone else said, regardless of how he is as manager, his home is always at Parkhead and he'll always be a Celtic great.

    Reading the riot act

As we know, Lennon has had to give the lads the hairdryer treatment, sometimes twice in a week, to get a performance out of the team. He's told us so himself. Is this all a bit much?

We know he has publicly named individual players in the past and slighted them in the media and he is once again threatening to "out" the players he thinks are not doing enough. Does slagging your team in the media work?

We all know there does seem to be a problem with the motivation of the players recently. They have looked out of sorts, lackadaisical and occasionally downright lazy. Is there an issue in the dressing room?

Is Lennon's management style too abrasive for modern, namby-pamby players? I'm often sceptical about the results from his more than frank interviews. I'm losing faith in him, seems the players are, but it also seems like the blame is apportioned to others and Lennon has just been unlucky or a victim of circumstance. Pretty sure Lennon is no passenger. If you've got to the stage where every half time and post match dressing room talk is the so called riot act, is this not a sign in itself that he has lost some of the players. Surely an adept and skilled manager can explain to his team what is required of them free of anger and aggression.

I guess what I am getting at is that I now think Lennon can't cope with being a manager. His passion turns too anger quickly and I guess many people just don't respond to that. All the technical potential you could have, can be wiped away if not delivered in the right manner. Sometimes, the riot act gives the opposite response.

I know some will want these players to have their * ripped out every time they don't perform. You'll probably like his style. But like it or lump it, we do live in a world of namby-pamby players. Wage rises, new Bentley and the high life seem top of the list for these people. Is that right? No, of course it's not. Does it exist and do we have to operate under it? Yes, of course we do.

I'm no expert on Neil Lennon. Never met him. I can only go on snipppets and his interviews. I want to see how many of you think it's his way of dealing with things, like the riot act that's been a fixture of every game recently, or just plain and simple lack of technical ability to manage?

Or we sticking with the victim of circumstance reason :icon_mrgreen:

He doesn't have the temperament or experience to deal with tricky situations.

This is from today's Evening Times and the bits which I have bolded further down the article should set the alarm bells off, reading that leads me to believe a number of players have chucked it under him and he's lost them. Rightly or wrongly whenever you lose the dressing room then it is time to go, your time is certainly limited whenever that happens anyway.

I wonder how much the board will make available in January.

Any less than 5 or 6 million and they should all be handing in their resignation letters. What's the point in having a billionaire owner if he can't even give us a soft loan?

    *

That's a * terrible interview. The end is near. You publicly berate your players, have a dig at their earnings (regardless of being true or not) then it's all over. I would not respond to my boss for that, would you?

Can't believe he actually said he can't change it.
