I think the smoking ban was a great idea and now I dont know how I survived without out, anyone disagree?

Is England planning to follow suit?

Big success in Ireland too Jonny.I was able to quit pretty easily as soon as the ban came in.Had quit loads of times before bus as soon as i got to the boozer & had a couple of pints.Lost all willpower.Saved mesel a fortune too.

    I agree

The smoking ban has been great, would have liked to have seen Ireland.

Scotland and England all bringing the ban in synchronicity with each other.

The only problem now, is we are all getting gassed by nicotine outside..:87:

    * glad the smoking ban came in, no idea how I coped without it tbh! Only bad thing about it is the fact that you can get lung cancer just from walking into a pub:37:

never ever saw the point in anyone smoking when they know it'll probably kill them in the end. But yep, i think it's been quite a success. We had to watch this mingin video about what happened to your lungs if you kept smoking, * they were like black lol.

Smoking still ain't banned in switzerland, except in trains as far as I know. no matter if you went to a pub or club, you always end up as a smelly bassa.

but i think a ban is on it's way!

I hate smoking too ... but for now am hooked :31: ... I've cut down to 5 a day ... and never smoke in the house coz I can't stand the smell ... the ban comes into effect in England in July ... a lot of my work mates and friends say it will never work ... I've assured them if it has worked in the pubs in Glasgow ... it will be just the same in Liverpool ... guess I'm a reluctant smoker ... hopefully one day I will manage to quit :50:
