They do, and I am not.......I respect their tradition of being racist, homophobic, Xenophobic, sectarian fascist morons.

It does not offend me in the slightest anymore than the fact the share the same air as me.

Yes, am I am sure you would welcome those with open arms those who are proud Brits who want to sing about British heroes and fly their British flags to celebrate the fact most of us are British?

Actually you wouldnt would you. You want to talk about all-inclusiveness as long as it ties into your fightin-Irish/republican/IRA viewpoint.

A long standing tradition? Not a tradition of any Celtic fans that I know.

Maybe some supporters move with the times? Why don't most teams in Europe's fans go to games and sing anti * songs and anti Hitler songs?

Celtic aren't universally liked because we support the IRA. That's a * ridiculous thing to suggest.

    will never happen.

You're taking what people are saying and extending it to an illogical extreme.

Equating the support of the PIRA to our entire history, as if stopping that would eradicate whole heritage as Celtic is laughable, like there's not more to being Celtic and Irish than that.

I don't. I believe it thrives on our Irish connection. If that died it would be nothing.

well, you seem to be one of the crew that likes all this IRA stuf linked to the club.
The board has asked it to be stopped yet the stubborness of a few stadium soldiers would rather still spew it out week in week out.

Come on Wicklow get a grip eh, do you honestly expect that Peter Lawwell should stand up, especially when the worlds cameras are on him, and declare support for the I.R.A. The man is Chief Executive of Celtic F.C., not the Chief Executive of a tuppence ha'penny organisation. His job is to oversee the day to day running of our Club, that doesn't include giving the outside world the chance to boot Celtic F.C. rite in the hips n haws. Before anybody comes on here and tries to slate me, then fire away, but you don't really know me do you ? I have followed Celtic, all my life, and will do until my dying day. I have, and still do follow Celtic, home and away, and that includes a good few European game away from home. My family before me were Celtic diehards, my own family now, follow Celtic through good times and bad times, and by that I mean actively follow and support Celtic. I am off Irish descent, with a very Nationalst background, so please don't come on here and tell me about my roots, and what I should be singing or chanting. Our club was founded by a Marist Priest, a Catholic Priest, whose ideology in forming Celtic, was to provide food, clothing, and shelter, for the underpriveleged in the east end of Glasgow, and among those who were among the underpriveleged, were people from Glasgow, and Ireland. On the political question of Ireland, my viewpoint, has never faltered, and neither has my family's position, we are unwaveringly behind the struggle for a united Ireland. I am a committed Celtic fan, as are all my family, I go to every game to support my team, and I am every bit as much a diehard as anybody on here, so please spare yourself, if you intend to shoot me down for not singing or chanting pro-IRA, when I go to support my team. Even our Manager, who has probably more rights than most of us on here, to support Irelands Nationalist movement, has asked the fans to chuck these same chants, and he got beratted by a minority on here. I will make a predictment right now, I bet half of them haven't got a scoobie about what the struggle means, and I bet a large chunk of them have never, and probably never will set foot in Ireland. So please guys eh, support your team, and keep your politic views for the correct stage. I will always support my team, and I will keep campaigning, and fighting for a united and free Ireland :ynwacelti
