But he won't get a game as long as McManus and Pressley are fit.

 

Really happy about this, think the bhoy has been outstanding since coming into the team this season. Would play him ahead of Steven Pressley everytime, better passer of a ball also scores more goals than Pressley and will get even better with experience.

 

dont put 2 much pressure on this kid..! hes just broke into the team let him matur as a man maybe on loan next season dont expect 2 much from him look at McGeady we done the same with him... he will be a good player infact he'll b an exellent player and has plenty of time 2 prove it.

Darren O'Dea's rise to prominence at Celtic has been rewarded with a call-up to the Republic of Ireland senior squad for the forthcoming Euro 2008 qualifiers at Croke Park.
Steve Staunton has included the 20-year-old defender in his 24-man squad for the matches against Wales and the Czech Republic on foot of some impressive performances in the SPL, not to mention his heroics against AC Milan in the Champions League.
The inclusion of Wigan striker Caleb Folan is sure to raise a few eyebrows among the Irish soccer public but the English born 24-year-old is eligible as he has Irish grandparents.
Folan has made a significant impression at Wigan since his £500,000 arrival from Chesterfield in the January transfer window and scored two goals in his last three matches.
"Both players have been impressive in recent weeks," said Staunton today, "and deserved their call-up."
