What are we going to need for next season?

after yesterday it is clear that we need to make improvements in pre-season if we are going to win it by a clear margin. i know we were tired yesterday and we do have the better team at the moment but if rangers get into the champions league they are going to buy some good players and seriously challenge for the title. imo, we need a CL class defender, a midfielder to replace lennon who is older and more expirienced than sno but still with a good few years in him imo 26 would be good, a CL class striker to partner JVOH because miller and zurawski are not quite CL class and JVOH is continualy gettin injured. i also think that Graveson should be getting more games. We also connot keep getting our players from the english championship as they are not good enough if we want to go further in europe. i admit that naylor is good but look at virgo and miller.

i also think we need a right back as telfer is leaving and wilson seems injury prone

 

not sure who 2 bring in but wee need another striker miller beattie and zurawski are not good enough! we also need a moravcik type player who will get 10 to 15 goals a seson maybe dean ashton if possible. i think we may need some cover on the right of midfeild im sure gordon has his targets and i just hope there not like miller jarosik virgo

 

I'd say we NEED a striker who will bag us 30 goals a season and a replacement for Lenny.

 

yeah i totally agree hartley and jarosik are our only attaking midfieders and their not quite up to the CL we were needing someone like lubo yesterday

 

ashton may go on the cheap if west ham go down

 

STRIKERS WHO CAN FINISH!

 

anyone thought of tevez even though he only has one goal for west ham i think he would be a good signing & i think he will get goals in the spl & against forign clubs

 

no chance, he wont come to scotland and barca want him and other big clubs and he will cost too much money

Def not centre backs-we have mick, gary, darren, elvis and jfk. Thats plenty of good centre backs. We are strong there, even at CL level. Obviously if we punt more players than expected we can get more in. I think it is hard to answer the question not knowing who will go-I think it could be a lot including at least four of JJ, Grav, Miller, Magic, Lenny, Telfer and Bobo. For starters we need a creative central midfielder, a * hot striker and maybe a wide attacking player.

 

i think we need a defensive mid as we need 1 to take over for lennon and sno is not the finnished article yet

imo, wgs is mad to be leaving out grav in so many big games id love to see him start more

 

Centre back, cover for right back, New centre mid player, quality striker, cover for quality striker and jvoh, cover for either wing of midfield would do me

Striker
Winger
Defensive midfielder
Fullback

 

1. Striker who actually scores goals
2. Right back

That's why we signed Paul Hartley in January.

It all depends on who leaves the club tho. It's possible that both Lennon and Tommy G will go, so then we would need another midfielder.

 

If that happens, I would like to see Scotty Brown partner Paul Hartley in midfield.
