Because men and women working under the 'IRA' banner murdered and maimed dozens of innocents via impersonal bombing campaigns in the late 80's and early 90's.

The fact that the British Army did the same a hundred years ago does not make it right!

I don't see how you can say that what he said is nonsense, most of the people that shout about the IRA probably don't give a * about them and are probably only doing it to wind up opposing fans. Would you not agree?

And those of you moaning and whinging about rebel songs being sung by our support - ask yourself this...

Have you ever been to an Irish pub?
Have you ever been out on St Patricks night?

If so, do you honestly expect me to believe you didn't join in!!!

If we had won, none of you would give a *. This is all coming out because of a poor performance by the team today and now everyone is getting it.

How the * can anyone say IRA songs are illegal when The Queen went and laid a wreath in memory of those who died fighting for Ireland? Do you think she is offended when Celtic supporters sing songs about them, even though she went and personally paid her respects to them a few months ago?

If only you knew your history...

No, I care about the IRA. If opposition fans are offended then so be it. Most of their songs are sectarian/offensive. I don't get offended at them.

It has nothing to do with opposing fans. Stop being so ignorant. We sing Irish ballads no matter who we are playing.

There's a lot of supporters that would allow Celtic to be grinded down into an ordinary club.

Fact is, I don't hear any of these complaints at games. Nearly everyone in the stands today joined in these chants, most of them are the same people that follow our club everywhere.

The fans were a credit to the club, once again.

    Let the people sing.

    Yes and yes!

But these celebrations were behind closed doors with like-minded people and wasn't being broadcast to all and sundry!

    * forbid its broadcasted. Whatever will the world do?

Basically your sing keep your culture behind closed doors. Which is racist. A lot of your posts have been.

Why does it matter if they're televised? Should we be ashamed of it? Who cares what they think? I don't.

And when you attend the game are you not standing shoulder to shoulder with like minded people?

Why should you worry about it being broadcast to all & sundry? Why should you worry about offending people who have been offending anyone of a Celtic, Catholic or Irish persuasion for decades?
