Lennon wasn't directly to blame for todays performance. It was the combination of him and Sno that was the problem.

Rangers snuffed out the threat from our full backs, and with the 2 'sitters' in the middle of the park, we couldn't get support to the strikers.

You know Stonewall sometimes you talk some pish.

i never said mcgeady played great but he did enough to merit a 5 imo

miller is a joke just a bad version of heskey a big headless chicken who runs all day.

as everyone agrees he shouldnt play lennon and sno, showed the huns far to much respect

All teams have to do to stop us is double up on the wings, as we have no threat in te middlw of the park...time for tommy G

Sno and Lennon were playing the exact same position. It was ridiculous, that big gap between JVOH and the midfield was created. We went in there at half time thinking we didnt need to turn up for the second half. Fecking pish. About time Strachans shady tactics were shown up.

today meant far more to them than us. for us all we lost was a wee bit of pride, however the league is still done and dusted and they needed the points to stay in 2nd. it was dissapointing and a poor show, however its not the end of the world and if ever there was an old firm game things werent going to go our way then this was it, with nothing riding on it.

for its a grand auld team to play for
We came down to their level and we really dont need to be there.
It also glaringly shows us we have players to get rid of and players of quality needed, GS has had it tough at times and times I believe he has made it tough on himself, by that yes there have been injuries and our squad not being as deep as it should be quality wise is a problem, however he has moved the team around a lot and played players that are not consistant enough, therefor we have a team that is not stable, which does not help in continuity.
With todays squad I would say that Hartley and possibly Gravesen should be in the middle, Lennon, Sno, Jarosik, are not doing it.
Sure hope we win the Scottish cup for even with our questionable play I think we can.

Exactly mate, yesterday just wasn't our day. End of a poor week for the club but all is not lost. Let the huns think they are back again, Celtic are still the no. 1 team in Scotland and that won't change!

Btw, did anyone else think that Sebo shudda got sent of yesterday for multiple crazy lunges and a sly spit at Pressley?

Big mistake to be so complacent :87:

There was an awful lot riding on it, and Strachan knew it

We had the opportunity of making a definitive statement
of intent to the Huns for next season, and Strachan * up big time :54:

The Huns will be even more emboldened now..

And it's that kind of smugness that is going to get us into even more deep * before this season is over, if we don't correct it ...period..

Good, maybe we'll get a bit more of a challenge next year then. However me being me am confident that we can improve further, add most of what we need to the squad in order to get to the next level in the CL, and most important i'm confident that Strachan is the man to do it.

As for the rest of this season, it's been a tough last few months, and i'll be very happy to get the league wrapped up so we can rest some of the big hitters for the Scottish cup.

P.S. If you think complacency is creeping in to our squad you obviously don't see/read interviews by either the manager or the players. They know what they have to do, and i trust them 100%.

yes i agree stone! rangers under le guen did not believe that they could beat us and a team with no belief will not beat us. this was our chance 2 show walter and rangers that they still have a long way 2 go before they can compete with us that result yesterday will lift the heads of every1 involved with rangers it just means we need 2 gub them at ibrox.
p.s... if i had 2 loose an old firm game it would have been yesterdays, it just hurts so bad!!!

    I agree Steph

Some our fans are so fickle and complacent, and have short memories too

They have already forgotten how we gifted Rangers two Leagues recently
on the final day of the season

Not only Rangers will be emboldened now, but every other team in the
Premier League now, they have sussed out our deficiences, impoverished and defensive midfield that can easily be countered by doubling up on the wings, and goal shy forwards, who have forgotten the way to goal, not to
mention, our confidence on the ebb now

Strachan has a major job on his hands IMO, to pick the players back up again after these catastrophes.
