His passing is really hit and miss, he was constantly passing it behind players yesterday, played a couple of cracking diagonals and a ball over the top then never tried it again. Slowed down a lot of our play as well yesterday. He's too slow to play sitting midfield, good cover for centre back but that's the only place I want to see him play.

I actually thought he made a decent left back until Malmo away when they were just running past him although that's probably because Forrest was a lazy useless * not helping out. His lack of pace is frightening can he not just play centre half please, Sviatchenko Simunovic Boyata Charlie should be plenty and Lustig if he has to is alright there too just no more * Efe.

Nah it's because he put him at left back and decided to play him like Izzy. Expecting him to be at both touchlines.

Oh aye he's definitely not a wing back I think Lennon played him at left wing a few times in Europe for his delivery.

Because he strolls about the pitch thinking he's Xavi. Slow on the ball, constantly passed behind him without looking, going for Hollywood passes regularly etc.

He should be moved on in the summer.

He should have been moved on when Lenny left.

Still think he could prove useful, I'd prefer in centre of defence, I don't think the midfield i the place for him, unless extreme circumstances.

He's pish at centre half too though. Mulgrew has been worse for us than Ambrose has since we reached the last 16.

I still rate him. He's a good enough to be at least 3rd CB choice, he can fill at LB when needed (although when he get's covered, he's not Marcelo), and he can be useful in midfield, especially in Europe sitting just in front of CB's and protecting them.

He looks like a player that has came out of retirement. Huge question mark over him now, and I say that as someone who has been one of his biggest fans on here. He just has totally eclipsed this season - next couple of months are huge for his career.

Useful to have around but I'd rather he wasn't in the first team..

His last 15 months or so have basically been a write off since he's only played about 15 games in 3 different spells back from injury so never really got fit. Impossible to really tell what he's like now.

He's just back from an injury, that he got when he was just back from an injury. I know he was bad, but give him a chance to recover a bit before writing him off.

Not that that means playing him just now right enough, send him to the development squad for fitness and use him as a sub if desperate, but he's clearly a liability at the moment

Sometimes a Hollywood pass is what we need. Brown and Bitton (and probably the three behind the striker as well) have been far too side to side recently it's majorly frustrating. Sure, the pass isn't going to hit it's mark as often as passing it to the guy five yards to the side of you, but when it does you might create something.

He is one of the very few in the team that is brave enough to consistently pass the ball forwards.

I think he still has something left to offer this team.
