hearts Vs Celtic, Sunday 2nd October

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by TheZacDaddy, Sep 26, 2011.

  1. ffs i cant beleive the huns could be 10-points clear by the time we play on sunday at 12;45pm,anyway a win is a must simple as that so lenny must go all out as soon as the game starts+every game is a must win,i'd love the bhoys to go from a win on sunday against the tarts,to win every other spl games ,ttil the end of the season wow then we'd be champions:cheer::cheer: so heres hoping thursday result will go a long way in seeing how we line-up on sunday but i'm sure lenny will go with this line-up...lol

    -------------------forster-----------------------

    Matthews-----Majst-----Loovens-------Kaaddouri

    --Forrest--------Kayal--------KI---------Ledley--

    -------Stokes/hooper----------------------bangura--------

Hooper might be hurting after thursday's game way Udinese as i feel hes carrying a knock so i'd rest him and start with bangura ffs why leave a £2.2m striker on the bench for the last 3/4 games, mental in my opinion anyway a 1-3 win for the bhoys at tynecastle, way bangura finally banging them in yehaaaa(only if bangura starts)

so back to 7 points huns way a game in hand!

We can't afford to lose and drop 10 points behind, we have to win.

True, it would be too winger heavy, 2 of them maximum to start if I'm honest. Wouldn't mind see all 3 at one stage in the game, but aye, on reflection, not all to start.

    ...................Zaluska....................
    Matthews...Maj.....Mulgrew....El Kaddouri
    Forrest.......Ki.........Kayal...........Ledley
    ..............Hooper...Stokes................

Bench: Forster, Loovens, M.Wilson, McCourt, Wanyama, Bangura, Samaras.

Think we'll win 3-1, with Hooper, Stokes and Ledley scoring.

If Ledley doesn't make it commons please
Would love to see Joe in the middle but victor was class tonight he deserves a spot in the team. Kayal is kayal

Wanyama deserves a start on Sunday.

    I'd go with:

    Forster

    Mathews Maj Mulgrew El Kid

    Kayal Wanyama Ki

    Bangura Hooper Stokes
Reports that Forrest was being sick tonight and he took a bump, don't think him or Ledley will be risked.

    Would love to see this.

Same team as tonight, with Badr for Ledley (as he's injured) and we play like the first half tonight then we will absolutely destroy them.

Another thing, does anyone think we should play that line up at Ibrox next time? I thought it worked so well and would be great v them. You have the two strikers who are both pacy and will terrorise the defence, with Kayal and Wanyama breaking things up and controlling the midfield. Then Ki and Forrest (or maybe Ledley) going forward, going wide, getting the ball to the strikers feet and having shots from distance.

assuming ledley & forrest are rested...

    -------------------forster-----------------
    matthews---rogne---mulgrew--kaddouri
    -----------------wanyama----------------
    ------kayal----------------------ki-------
    -----------------mccourt------------------
    ---------hooper---------bangura--------

think wanyama in the enforcer position is just what we need until we can get a CB pairing that we're comfortable with.

wanyama is a hunskelper if i ever saw one & bangura's pace(vs. stokes) seems more fitting for an old firm game.

    Subs:

    Forster.
    Samaras.
    Bangura.
    Majstorovic.
    Ledley*
    M.Wilson.
    Loovens.

*Ledley was taken off with a groin injury at half time last night, so if he's even near full fitness, I'd start him on the bench.

That team looks good enough to me and we should be able to beat Hearts convincingly with that team out.
