him and darren o dea tonight were as outstanding as they have been all season . Mcmanus should be our captain next season he is a born leader and how he doesnt get picked for scotland ahead of david * is scandalous. He has the potential to be a celtic and scotland legend.

MacManus has been outstanding all season

but I would like to see Tommy G being made captain
next year for his experience, drive and leadership.

By making Tommy G captain, would give him the
responsibility and focus to maintain his positional
play more tighter and disciplined :shamrock:

If you are talking about hopeless

Look no further than Lennon...he had a shocker tonight

He should have hacked Kaka down at the half way line, if
he had, we might be still in the Champions League tonight.

He is 36 now, and reached the end of the road..

evander sno can step up and be more involved next season hes only 19 and can still improve.if he loses the ball you can really see him busting a gut to get back he is really powerful and his tackling is superb, overall i think is passing is good too but he needs to eradicate the mistakes from his game. I really rate him highly

    I agree
Sno is a natural....he can only get better and better for all this Champion's League experience, and faith that WGS has shown in him..

I would love to see a midfield of Nakamura, Hartley, Graveson and Sno.

Agreed I thought Stephen McManus as well as Darren O'Dea were superb tonight. I would certainly pick McManus to take over as Celtic captain from Neil Lennon at the end of the season. He for me is the obvious choice to be the next Celtic captain.

Aye Mick was different class last night, i honestly think he's well on his way to becoming a Celtic legend. His was one of the best defensive performances i've seen in a long time. Mick for captain, IF LENNON GOES!!!

Who said he had a shocker last night? Thats one load of pish!! There wasn't one bad performance out there for us, Lennon and Sno i thought were outstanding. How anyone can come out and criticise ANY of our players last night is a disgrace and an embarrassment!!

Tommy G aswell, he had a great game when he come on. Dunno about making him captain but his last couple of appearances have led me to believe he's starting to settle in to his own game now. Next season we'll see the best of him, mark my words.

Is nobody going to mention how he stood off Kaka far too long allowing him to score the winner?

As for Sno, he was the one most guilty of giving away possession not Lennon. Most of you are glossing over the facts to support your favourites instead of being objective.

O'Dea and Naylor were the outstanding defenders last night.

What was he meant to do dive in? * sake, he's got a bit more experience than that. He very nearly got a toe to the ball before Kaka got the shot away. O'Dea and Naylor were brilliant, but i cannot believe the fact that your not giving Big Mick immense credit for the way he cleared his lines throughout the 120 minutes, he was our best player i think.
