I think Paddy was kept as backup, because of his amazing dribbling skills. There are obvious reasons why his fitness isn't so good - more of a kind of lifestyle thing, but he's obviously been a real character around the place. He'll do well wherever he goes and it'll be good to watch him play for whatever team he goes too.

Some top class videos of footballers on Youtube. Seen one of a guy called Sebo (I think) played like Messi in the video!

I suggest you scrub Celtic out of your signature and just "support" the others because judging by all your comments in Celtic Chat, you don't really support Celtic.

That's only what I can show you.

Some of us tend to judge from memory - I have seen plenty of McCourt's dribbling skills over the years he has been here.

Also - your answer stinks of someone who has no credible argument.............or to put it more politely, you're talking more pish.

Hes a weird player, has the ability but just not a particularly athletic body. Smoking 30 a day doesnt help though........................

I'm pretty sure if he wasn't athletic enough, or unfit etc - the management team would have him no where near the first team.

He obviously trains as hard as the rest of them on a daily basis.

I'm not taking "Celtic" out, it took me ages to decide the order I favour my teams. I'm not breaking it up.

He wasn't fit enough, never was. He was fit to play a bit part role on the wages he was on and with the ability he had though.

Anytime he got more than a slight run in the team though he ended up injured.

Well, I've yet to see any conclusive evidence that he isn't "fit" enough (when injury free) - as many suggest?

His injuries are part of the general fitness levels for me.

Less of an issue when he plays in the middle though and he is ar fitter than he was when he arrived.

The fact he hardly ever plays is one, looks more tired than others at the end of games ....... him only on for * 10 mins.

Does that mean Kayal is unfit as well then if that's how we judge players' general fitness?

The second part is your opinion tbh.

If he wasn't fit enough to be a professional football, there's no way he'd be in or around the first team at a professional club on a professional contract.

    It's that simple.

Kayal does have his fitness problems, as does Scott Brown. While being two players we have who probably have the best stamina.... well Izzy as well.

Three extremely fit players who have had injury difficulties.

McCourt's overall fitness is in question here without any solid proof. I seem to remember similar remarks about him not being able to play 90 mins. Although he has by no means been a regular in the team, he is more than capable of playing a full game ffs.
