Glad he's gone. Wish him all the best wherever he ends up.

He will probably end up in the Championship and imo will do very well in it.

Nah we all saw how Messi performed in the UCL this year, he's passed it, surely Barca will be lucky at Paddy as his long term replacement.

    Good luck Paddy!!! :celt_2:

Haha thank * all the Paddy McCourt threads and arguing will cease. Wasn't his biggest fan, good luck though! I'd like to see him at St Mirren.

Good luck to him. Never going to get a regular starting place, it's best for him if he moves on. I am looking forward to seeing him play regularly elsewhere.

its ridiculous that a man of his talent cannot get a place in our team, has yet to perform badly while he has pulled on the hoops which cant be said for others

What? Genuinely not sure if you're being serious? Most games he comes on and no impact whatsoever.

He rarely performs when he pulls on the hoops. The isolated flashes of brilliance are far outweighed by ineffectual performances.

His time is definitely up. He has left me with some great memories, but he never did anything important. I hope he goes somewhere that he starts most games, I would like to see how he gets on.

:56::56:! Aye that Lionel Messi, the amount of times he luckily breezes by players and scores. I would like to hear why you think they were lucky? Humour me by explaining please.

I think he's gonna be one of these players to come back and haunt us. I can see him going to a team like Aberdeen or Hibs and probably scoring against us a few times. He's got skill, he can beat a man, but he's a bit of a one trick pony, he's not versatile and I don't think Lennon likes the fact that he cant tackle. He reminds me a bit of myself at the five-a-sides. Cult hero though
