Who else would change a game for us? I dont think anybody but McCourt can do that in our squad.

How a team as mediocre as we are at the minute can't fit Paddy in beggars belief. Best if he leaves in January.

As you probs know I love the guy, I really dont know how he doesnt get more game time. Especially with Commons off form, he is the natural replacement.

He said he is happy to stay if he plays more, so lets hope he does!

Just seen this, even though it was posted months ago! I've never seen anyone heralded as Celtic's savior as much as I have with Paddy, especially not the likes of Forster or Sammy.

Wouldn't sell him though, he's a great option to have on the bench.

Anything over £1 million, I'd be happy with.

He's never gonna be a regular in the side and the theory he's an impact player is starting to wane. When he's played recently he's slowed the play down, tried to take on too many players when a pass would have been the better decision and always seems to have picked up a knock in training.

I like Paddy but if we get a firm offer for him, let him go.

completely agree apart from the bit in bold. all players have a price and if they do come back with a decent cash bid, we would have to seriously contemplate it.

Paddy is finished with us. I'm sorry to say it, as I've always rated him since he's been here and he undoubtedly has bags of talent, but he's barely making the matchday squad these days and is basically a waste of a wage packet now.

Just look at how many wingers we have at the club, all of whom can put in a better shift than Paddy from start to finish and whom can also keep themselves fit for more than a month at a time. Forrest, Commons, Samaras, McGeough, McGinn (when and if he returns from his loan) and now Ibrahim.

I agree with one of the above posts. If we receive anything over £1m, bite their hands off for it.

I would hate to see Paddy go but it's obvious that Celtic have no interest in playing him. He should have left after the Faroe Islands performance.

Doubt we'd get £1million for him tbh, though I'd sell if it was offered. I'm thinking around 750-800k maybe.

I'd still take £750k for him. For an injury prone player that doesn't get much game time and is basically nothing more than a squad player now, I think that's good money for him.

Money that could be put towards strengthening our squad, when you consider we got the likes of Izzy for £600k and he turned out to be sensational.

it's seems like you're making McCourt the victim in all this. there's others higher than him in the pecking order for all places in the XI and now it would seem even on the bench.

he's been a great servant, no doubt but don't make it out that he should be getting more games because others deserve it more.
