Lenny's had a full season and a half under his belt. Why didn't McCoist's inexperience show today then?

The players take the blame, they didn't turn up. He picked a team that was better than Ranger's but it just wasn't to be. Maybe the players will give more of a toss next time.

I think lenny's coat is on a shoogly peg now. He is making the same rookie mistakes he was making last season.

Its not like that partnership has never worked before(3-0 game).

And Stokes had a chance to make a difference and he didn't.

Was one of our better players today though. When Stokes and Bangura came on they were none existent.

We have a better squad than Rankers, but Lennon did not field a better team than theirs today.

My point as well. "Oh we hate samaras he' crap, cant believe he started blah blah"

Bangura and Stokes came on and did jackshit, and Sammy was one of our better players today.

    Grand old team
Lennon uses these games as if it`s an experiment - As soon as i heard Samaras was playing i knew we would not win. We will not win the league with this team esp that defence and goalkeeper. Then you get the usual * on here saying keep the faith *. well ive heard the same * for the last 3 seasons and were has it got us. 4 points behind after half a dozen games. Its a rid neck that a team thats hardly scored at home puts 4 goals past us....Thats the managers fault. he picks the team.sets them up.and stands with his arms folded. P45 at the end of the season for lennon if he plays Samaras,Brown,Wilson,Forster,Majstorovic. they will get him the sack thats if the board dont sack him before christmas.

I think if both teams today played to their potential today we would have won hands down.

If we were at home that team would have beaten Rangers, Im pretty certain except Izzi, that was pretty much the same team he played last year for an Old Firm game and won. Forrest is too inexperienced IMO and would have crumbled. We can say Ledley should have started and all this but chances are we would have still lost and people would have then said oh Ki should have started.

He should get the sack if this continues.

    You're talking nonsense.

How can he pick a team that was better than ours yet they dominated the majority of the game and could have scored 7?

Brown was our best player today.

I just think it was disjointed, had we played our first choice XI then aye I think we would have won. Individually the players in the hoops were better than that shower, but when they are played in the manner they were today the whole collective fails.

Like 6 games in mate. Theres no need for doomsday talk. Theres plenty of time to turn it around, including two trips to Celtic Park.

So your pretty much blaming Samaras then? Despite being one of our better players today? And Brown!?? Our captain and best player today? :87:

Are you saying we should play Zaluska?

Of everyone today I think it was Lennon's weakest performance.

Changes after the red were Mowbray-esque

I think Stokes should have played instead of Samaras but for me the main problem was Ledley being left out. For me Ledley should be one of the first names on the team sheet. Mulgrew could have played left back or center back.
It's all very easy though of course for me and anyone else to sit here and point fingers and say Lennon should have done this or that. I have belief in Lennon and believe he will get it right. But I do think Ledley should have played today. Having said all that our players that were picked should easily have been able to get at least a point if not win today and they didn't because they simply didn't show up and play today. Ki and Kayal did next to nothing and Kelvin Wilson had a nightmare in particular.

Forrest has been fantastic this season and I think earned a starting spot. He did not crumble in Europe and he has experienced the old firm before. I would have moved Mulgrew to the back, dropped Glenda. Also Stokes and Hooper would always start a game if they are both fit, they work so well off each other.
