Went on to the final of the Europa Cup, beating the likes of Liverpool, Dynamo Kiev & Benfica on their way, only to narrowly lose 0-1 to Porto. Not exactly a crap side.

Plus was his FIRST European try with a brand new team.

We were 2-1 up at half time the game was our to lose and lennys * tatics all game after we went in half time up lost us it. Managers fault end off blaming the mildfielders posted missing after playing long ball pish all game just makes him look like a *!

 

Yeh Villa-Boas will need to watch now. They got rid of Ancelotti and he won the cup double in his first season with him, so Villa-Boas is on thin ice now

Lennon needs to stop this horses for courses attitude when playing the huns. He should stand by the team that he plays every week and if it doesn't work he should make changes while there is enough time to change the game

I was in a room of 20 guys today and everyone groaned in unison when the team was announced.

Every goal * pathetic, manky * barely created a chance yet score 4 times.

But if we have a good enough squad to win (which is what you said) then no matter who Lennon puts out we should win. So by that basis it's down to the players and not the manager.

I'll give you the zonal marking though because it never worked when Strachan done it either. Always prefer man-to-man marking on set pieces.

 

In football there are very fine lines. I know we didn't turn up for the second half, but in the final period of the first half we dominated like we did at times last season and had glenda's header been an inch to the right who knows.... KTF Bhoys

We have lost 2 goals this week due to this zonal marking pish, zones don't score goals Mr Lennon , players do.
So lets see a bit of man marking.

 

Lenny has the billy big time attitude. He hasnt made it yet with us far from it. His Tactics were shocking for all to see any1 that cant see that is crazy! Drop out top scoring strikeforce who have been involved in all but one of our goals this season for a player who scored twice last year and lennys reason before the game was the huns have new CB pairing who havent played against sammy. same could be * said for stokes and hooper! Also not realising mulgrew was walking a tighrope and should have been hooked for ledley at HT who could have shored up the midfield and we COULD (big word) gone onto win

 

A team is meant to reflect the personality of the manager on the field. If that is Lennon's personality that is on the field then we are well and truly *.Lennon has made some real dud signings Murphy, K Wilson, Majstorovic, Ljunberg,Forster, and the jury is still out on Bangura, what little I have seen of him is reminding me of a flash Harry Fortune type of player. Lennon has also succeeded in * off majorily some our best players in his time here McGeady, McCourt, Juarez, Stokes and Commons, all bad signs of careless and slack man management.But off course the sun shines out of Lenny's * brigade would have us believe Lenny is our Savior. I don't see any signs of Lennon saving us. Look at his appalling record

 

Yeh they are on their way to winning 4iar when we're only in September and only 4 points behind them

Let's go back to getting rid of our managers season after season just because we've not won the league by December. After all, we had SO much success with the 8 managers we had in charge of the club within a 10 year spell between 1990 and 2000.
